What you and your clowns consider "infrastructure" isn't infrastructure at all in most cases. One of the most dire needs is going to be new sustainable power generation, and nobody either seems to get it or want to make the investment. It's too risky and the payoff in investments is too delayed for current investors who want a quick turn around. The only thing remotely fitting the bill right now is natural gas and nuclear - fission - fusion is still fantasy. NG plants are quick to build, cheap to build, and not bound up in regulatory issues - but fuel price is very volatile and not green enough. To restart nuclear it will require government backing and planning that isn't bound by four year political cycles. By the time it becomes an unavoidable issue, it will be too late ... that should be infrastructure issue number one and it's not even on the agenda.

As soon as Biden won, I said I was fine if someone wanted to invoke the 25th (still am). As soon as Biden won I said he will not run in '24 and that I hoped he didn't. You guys are off base if you think I am a Biden supporter.

Unless something dire happens, there won't be a 25th amendment action to topple biden. That's why the poison pill was chosen as his running mate. The power is already behind the throne and not in the throne or the little chair sitting next to it.

What did Obama say that was so egregious? I understand he pushed an agenda that was not something everybody approved, but I don't specifically remember instances of him being extremely uncouth/uncivil.

No. He's unlikeable and recognized as useless. Your diversity klans might see the witch as somebody worthwhile solely based on sex and racial qualities - they may see her as a better alternative ... even considering her miserable primary performance and accomplishments while in office.

I remember him constantly using false choice arguments; particularly completely misrepresenting his opponents positions.

He said Republicans want dirty water and air, suggested they hated old people and children.

He talked about the importance of not demonizing political opponents then did exactly that at a speech trashing the R plan from the House with Paul Ryan sitting in the front row.

He may have used nicer words but he constantly demonized his opponents rather than debating ideas.

I didn't say he was uncivilized. I thought the larger question was about him being divisive. Maybe I missed that. My comments are about him being a divisive POTUS and one who demonized opponents.

I've never claimed Trump was not uncivilized (he was) or not divisive (he was).

Politics became a team sport way before Obama. Most people will decide thay any politician who isn't in lockstep with them is divisive.

true but I don't remember W attacking political opponents' motives as much as the last 3 have. Clinton wasn't as bad as the last 3 (though Hillary was the attack dog for him). we've definitely gone from at least some semblance of debating ideas to full on attacking people
