Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I asked this the other day and never got a response from anyone.

What procedures are being perofmeed in ICU? Are they still intubating?
I’m not sure I’m a rehab director of a physical therapy department…..I sit in meetings that go over numbers but I can ask tomm what they are doing in the ICU now.

That's a lot of immunizations. This is a good thing
Corona will wind up vaccinating more people than the government.

Well,
Considering that the early data says previous Covid infections and/or vaccine is providing little to no protection vs Omni….BUT….the Omni infection is proving to provide complete protection vs the other variants……80% infection would mean an endemic state and an absolute end to the “pandemic”.

That seems like a good thing to me.

From the UF article, listen to this insanity:

So I think the more people we can vaccinate and keep vaccinating, especially our children who need to be vaccinated, especially the younger children, to keep doing that.

So, since we have a new strain that is not neutralized by the antibodies produced after the mRNA shots, we need to give people more shots to protect the segment of the population that does not need protecting?

The sun works well when you are at a therapeutic Vitamin D level and want to maintain it. For the many Americans who are deficient in Vitamin D, supplements are the best way to go.

Not to get too off topic. But the Sun should be more of a go-to when it comes to health in general. Obviously I’m speaking to mental health more than physical. However, taking care of the mental can aid the physical as well.

Feels like I’m speaking philosophically, and to an extent I am. My point is, spending some time under the sun can do all of us some good. Too many benefits to list.

Like I said, dumb move on their part considering especially that the vaccine does not prevent you from contracting and spreading the virus. There is no point in it, and they aren't following the science.
Wrong. The effects of the virus are greatly diminished with the vax. Take your chance. Live or die, it's up to you and how well you can survive this crap. I didn't take the chance. Wife had it this week and only had a mild fever.

My GP told me a while back that the sun doesn't provide enough Vit D north of Atl. Course this was about 20 years ago before global warming.

I, unvaxxed, had less symptoms than my vaxxed dad and vaxxed aunt.

I understand that, but it's the fallacy that a lot of people use to argue against most getting vaxed. Yes, you did well, but there are hundreds of thousands that didn't/don't do as well. Mandates? NO! Vaccination, I'm for it.

Sun and dirt are two of nature's most beneficial health aids.

You may have missed my point, or perhaps I stated it poorly. Yes, it can greatly diminish symptoms in the individuals that take it of they contract the virus. It doesn't keep you from catching it and spreading it to others. This includes people who work in the healthcare field as well obviously. It is a therapeutic for the individual that takes it only, and on top of that it doesn't last that long. Our preacher who was vaxed got very sick with what I am thinking was the Delta variant last week. I am betting that it had been months since the vax was taken though so it was likely waning. I am glad to hear your wife cam through it alright! I ran a 102 degree plus fever for 10 days straight when I had it in September. That and the cough were the worst.

The bolded is absolutely correct. Once again, your preacher is anecdotal. There isn't enough server space for us to report anecdotes that will overcome the majority of what the effect of the 3 shots are. I absolutely hate having a fever and when you have to cough on top of that with something akin to pneumonia it's like dying every time you cough. I actually may have had it between Christmas and New Years as I had a terrible cough and actually pulled an upper abdominal muscle. No fever though. That may be where my wife picked it up...who knows.

That is how bad my cough was. It was terrible. I too pulled an abdominal muscle just below my floating rib. The good news is myself and you two came through it ok in the end, and we are building long lasting immunities at least to those strains that we came in contact with.
