The role of vitamin D deficiency on COVID-19: a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies - PubMed

Conclusions: According to our results, vitamin D deficiency may increase the risk of COVID-19 infection and the likelihood of severe disease. Therefore, we recommend vitamin D supplementation to prevent COVID-19 and its negative outcomes.

Covid was not Trump's fault and it's not Biden's fault. Gov't can't control a virus. Biden was idiot for thinking it can a yr ago but he now sees it differently
Oh... so now that he acknowledges that is there an apology in the offing for Mr Trump? I highly doubt it.

**** Joe Biden

I see what you're saying, and I'm pretty conservative and frugal especially for my demographic, but I still disagree. The one thing my generation got screwed on was wages vs inflation. They clearly do not match. Could a 1 income family survive? I suppose. Could they thrive like when a mailman could have a 3 bedroom house, stay-at-home wife, 2 kids, a dog, 2 cars, and go on family vacation every year like in the 50s-70s? No, not in the least bit.
The Homeownership Dreams Of Zoomers And Millennials Shattered By Prices | ZeroHedge

Home prices and rent are soaring faster than wages. This shattered home buying plans of generations Y and Z and put them in a rent squeeze as well.

Affordability
With the eldest Gen Xers now 56 years old, elder Millennials looking at 41 this year, and the forefront of Gen Z hitting 27 in 2022, homeownership rates among respondents from the three generations stand at 78%, 64% and 29%, respectively.

So, what’s keeping 22% of Gen X, 36% of Millennials and 71% of adult Zoomers out of the housing market?

The main issue is affordability. Of all non-owners who participated in our survey, 53% view today’s housing market as just as inaccessible or even more inaccessible than in 2018, with Millennials most pessimistic. And, for those living with parents or other family members, the outlook is even more stark than it is for renters, with 59% of Millennials who live at home feeling that the prospect of homeownership is now even further removed.

The sun works well when you are at a therapeutic Vitamin D level and want to maintain it. For the many Americans who are deficient in Vitamin D, supplements are the best way to go.
It takes a while to build up, but considering we are two years into this, we have had time.

The issues is most Americans would rather pop a pill then sit outside in the sun for 15 minutes a day.

Granted you cant do it everyday, but you arent going to be deficient if you go when you can.

You still can be as I'm outside more than most and still have to supplement. That was easily discovered through a routine Dr appt though

Right. But how many people even do that?

It's similar to being diabetic. Some people can just manage their blood sugar with careful monitoring and dieting. Some careful people still need insulin, and others eat and do whatever they want and have to use insulin more.

These are the people controlling our country and what we hear. Think about that.

This woman is insane to say nothing of the fact that she's a liar.

The January 6 capitol riot was not a good look for this country and was a sad day imo. No one can convince me otherwise. However, the comparison to the 9/11 and Pearl Harbor attacks are not even remotely close to the redneck Randy’s that behaved like idiots at the capitol.

Kind of a stupid premise to question why 100% of each of these demographics doesn't own a home. Economically that would make zero sense and makes no account for lifestyle choices. And how are prices rising at such a clip if no one can afford the homes? It certainly isn't boomers buying houses from other boomers. 90% of our neighborhood is under 40, that's a story repeating itself all over our area as empty nesters cash out and people in their 30s-early 40's replace them. It wasn't long after 2008 that the experts were telling us few Millennials would ever buy a home and the market would implode.

Exactly. Nobody is saying that it was good. But it is purposefully being overblown and used as a political weapon. Just like Covid was.

Why weren’t they given out while people waited hours and hours for tests and it was impossible to find any anywhere?

You see what you did there?

However, you do have a point with regards to the younger people not owning homes at the same rate as Gen-Xers. But you can't ignore the fact of home prices increasing at a faster rate than wages.
