It’s done as an outpatient “procedure”. It’s something done before being admitted to the hospital, which therefore decreases the hospitalized numbers.But if you are just doing counts, someone with the treatment is still going to ring in as 1. It would drastically reduce average stay, and help availability of beds, potentially, but it wouldnt effect overall numbers.
