We continue to lead the country in the % increase in average daily cases compared to two weeks prior.

#Florida has had a 991% increase

But the absolute increase is astonishing - we are now averaging nearly 27,000 more cases EACH DAY compared to 2 weeks ago.

Whereas only a few weeks ago, we had the LOWEST 7-day cases per capita in the country (largely due to the catastrophe that was the #delta surge)...

We're now 4th highest in the country over the last 7 days, behind only NYC, DC, and NJ.

so all the "pandemic of the unvaccinated" haranguing turned out to be crap

the full on focus on vaccinations rather than treatments and testing turned out to be the wrong strategy

The wrong strategy, what saving lives?

  • In the absence of a vaccination program, there would have been approximately 1.1 million additional COVID-19 deaths and more than 10.3 million additional COVID-19 hospitalizations in the U.S. by November 2021.
  • Without the U.S. vaccination program, COVID-19 deaths would have been approximately 3.2 times higher and COVID-19 hospitalizations approximately 4.9 times higher than the actual toll during 2021.
  • If no one had been vaccinated, daily deaths from COVID-19 could have jumped to as high as 21,000 per day — nearly 5.2 times the level of the record peak of more than 4,000 deaths per day recorded in January 2021

holy strawman Batman

I'm not suggesting we shouldn't be vaccinating or promoting the vaccine - I'm critiquing the near 100% focus on vaccination as THE SOLUTION to Covid and worse, the blaming of all Covid ills on the unvaccinated.

We dropped the ball on therapeutics and testing while worshiping at the Holy Grail of vaccines

It’s a great solution if there is great participation. Also, I mentioned earlier that therapeutics aren’t effective unless administered early, like as soon as symptoms pop up. Therapeutics don’t work for people that wait until their lungs are so inundated that they can’t oxygenate, and unfortunately that is when many choose to seek help. Try explaining to a family that is about to lose a loved one to COVID why their loved one is dying when they all don’t believe COVID is real… that, unfortunately, is happening a lot too.

tons of breakthrough cases with Omicron - even boosted people. Check NYC (as one example) - very high vax rate/very high new case rate

I never said Covid wasn't real or that therapeutics are the only answer or that people aren't dying - I'm critiquing the single minded response of our government that focused on Covid ZERO via vaccines, mandates and shaming of those who weren't being "patriotic"

The current surge is proof (here in high vax areas and around the world) that you can't beat Covid with a vaccine alone strategy and trying to do so takes your eye off the ball for how to live with Covid.

I will say this, something has happened for this to unravel so quickly this week. Something to be looking out for if the momentum continues... a podcast I listen to has a host that has been predicting a collapse in these vaccine stocks in the spring because it would become to obvious and hard to hide what's going on. He's been pounding on this theme since early November.

Malone's last tweet before being banned is an example of a slow drop of truth that is gradually building day by day.

He's been in front of the Democratic states on who to prioritize on vaccines, has promoted getting the vaccine and has been in front of the country on therapeutics, see the antibodies as an example.

What he's against has been shutdowns and vaccine mandates. Given NY doing all those things, here we are seeing no difference. You're lucky to live in FL and you're no different than a bratty child whining that they didn't get 52 presents on Christmas and only got 51.

There is a decent gap between symptoms popping up and pneumonia. So it's not like it's a narrow gap.

But funny you say that because part of the problem, as well, is the medical field sending people back home with nothing but a "come back when your oxygen is under 92".

I'll bet they will. Hell they are already talking about 'cases' instead of deaths. You still have the dedicated usefuls that are pushing the 'people in the hospital with FauciFlu' numbers, but they are the dedicated desperate. Even the CDC has lowered the quarantine time. It is rapidly becoming nothing more than a headcold.

Control is the ultimate objective, and they sorely want that.
