to John Boy’s point, 90%+ of the people dying in the US now are unvaccinated. Meaning if everyone was vaccinated, we’d be having 160 die a day, instead of 1600. It would effectively be controlled.

I don’t think this last 25% of the population or whatever will be swayed enough to get the shot, so we likely will enter a process of natural selection soon where no protocols exist anymore and if you die, it’s your own fault because vaccines are available (and free)

I would think that letting rumors fly and not disclosing the facts for as long as possible gives TN a small competitive advantage. Alabama doesn’t know how to prepare right now.

If JJJ and Fulk are out that’s an extra 50 minutes of playing time. I’d like to see the staff give most of them to Quentin, Jonas, and Jahmai. Not a whole lot to lose since Bama would likely be a heavy favorite and it would be good indoctrination for those 3 instead of mop up minutes versus mid majors. BHH has had plenty of opportunities and hasn’t presented a well rounded game. I’d like to see Jonas Aidoo get a big opportunity if BHH doesn’t elevate his game… especially on defense.

If the rumor is true, time for Kennedy to prove his worth. He's really struggled against quality competition, and Wednesday he'll have a prime opportunity to have his "moment" of trying to carry a wounded team into a hostile environment and will them to victory. He will have to play his best game yet for us to have any chance at all.

Even versus Arizona he only had 2 turnovers in 30+ minutes. His shooting was off but he proved to be very capable of not getting trapped and losing offensive opportunities.

FWIW, there’s nothing in Basilio’s blog about Fulk and JJJ being out and it posted after 10pm. Not even a hint of a rumor from his C-list donor contact list.

But TB does report that Cuonzo has tested positive.

Nothing in the Tuesday Knoxville News-Sentinel either. But there is a story on the Lady Vol game that was over around 8:30pm.
