Trump is history. For some reason people always bring him up when it’s pointed out how bad Biden is doing present day.
Back on topic, Biden apparently said today that the government has no plan for the virus and that the states should deal with it. Probably a good thing since the government breaks everything it touches.

So since the current variant can largely be confused with the common cold if you have any symptoms at all what does everyone think the under count will be? I can see where it could be regional whereas if you’re in NY it’s “OMG I’ve got a sniffle I need to get tested for COVID!!” vs in TX it’s “dammit mountain cedar is really kicking my butt again this year. Oh well pop the DayQuil and power thru like every year!”

But no way I see any accurate case count on this strain it’s going to be waaaaaay under counted. What say ye @kiddiedoc ?

Now look at the majority of other countries in Africa that don't even have acces to most of these vaccines yet. This may be the first time ever that they are lucky to be cut out of 1st world medical supplies.

"It's affecting larger communities and it's certainly affecting children in a way that we hadn't seen before. And that's new compared to last year," he said. Only about a third of eligible children, ages 5 and older, are vaccinated in Connecticut, Salazar estimated.

Like I said, "With" Covid is not "from" covid. Read your own articles before trying to scare everybody with them.

"We are definitely seeing an increase in Covid-positive children, but they are not necessarily coming in with Covid symptoms," Owensby said. The kids are coming in for some other treatment, she said, and are testing positive when they are screened.

I'm trying to find the number of pediatric beds in NYC, but I'm getting bored of this "discussion" tonight. I would bet it's at least 2,000, if not much higher. Probably not "filling up" with CV anytime soon.

That’s why I posed the question to you on just how many Omicron cases are gonna go uncounted. In the less whiney fear porn influenced states that get a COVID test when they stub their toe I’d guess many think they’ve got a cold and go along their merry way. 🤷‍♂️
