Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

That's also the nexus event that promulgated the idea that more vaxxed were dying than unvaxxed in the UK. And was swiftly debunked.

I read where the vaccine naonbots were made up of graphene that was floating around and slicing up people's veins n' arteries.

Surely that can't bode well for the vaccinated.

Actually the info I posted about is from within the past several days, as released by the UK, awaiting holiday weekend updates of course.

I'm just saying that circling this week as a record number of cases/hospitalizations and circling the same week on another chart showing covid deaths isn't how this works. There's always been a bit of a lag.

There is a lag, and in the South Africa graphs, that lag is well accounted for. Nothing happened. If we were going to see a big spike in deaths in South Africa, we would've seen most of that spike by now. We haven't seen anything of the sort.

You do realize that tik tok videos aren’t the only proof of anything out there right? 😂😂 stick to lady Vol soccer. Even though they are mostly unvaccinated too. I’m sure they would love that you called them trash as well
Here is a lesson for you about TikTok.
It’s not a media outlet.
It’s a video sharing platform that is used by many companies just like Youtube, Twitter or their website etc.
Here is an example to help you understand that.
I didn’t want to use an American company to avoid criticizing their left or right view. So I used one from Australia.

The preventative measures make sense on paper (separating people), and yet here we are - it's bizarre and defies logic. Bizarre as it may be, the politicians should be paying attention.

I had a friend visit from Michigan last year where everything was shut down and they were having a HORRIBLE outbreak - she couldn't believe that she could even go out to dinner in Ft Myers. Let alone go out without a mask.

She decided that FL was covering up the hospital/death rates since it was wide TF open down here.
Covering them all up down here sep. People dropping left and right even though they are still here.

Deaths correspond with hospitalizations and patients who end up on ventilators. In South Africa, almost nobody ended up needing a ventilator and slightly more than that ended up needing oxygen. Both were infinitesimal compared to ventilators and oxygenation required during previous variant spikes. Maybe the pattern won't necessarily hold in the UK or the US, but I don't see why it wouldn't follow a similar trajectory to what happened in South Africa.
Oh okay, they all have sprained ankles but happen to test positive, my bad, the pandemic is over.

COVID-19: Number of people in hospital with coronavirus in England hits highest level since March

NY COVID Hospitalizations Top 5,500 for 1st Time Since February; Admissions Among NYC Kids Soar

Weren't you lecturing someone about strawman fallacies earlier?

"Highest hospitalizations since February!!!!"

Again, considering how insanely intense the infection rate is for Omicron, this shouldn't be surprising or alarming. If twice as many people get infected in three weeks than got infected with Delta in three months, then you can reasonably expect, at a minimum, a small uptick in hospitalizations. You know what we're not seeing a sharp uptick of? Covid patients requiring ventilators. So stop with the chicken little bullsh*t. This isn't delta. It is quite good that the most virulent variant we've seen is relatively benign. This is cause for optimism, not doom prophecies.

It’s putting a huge strain on the hospital system
