Never understood the hoopla around that movie. A few laughs, but I think Its overrated. I'd rather watch Elf or Jingle all the Way

They actually sell a Turbo Man toy exactly like the one from the movie. We got my daughter one this Christmas. She loves that movie.

The others are on TV a ton too...it just never has done anything for me.

I will admit, it is entirely possible that I don't enjoy it because for whatever reason I didn't watch it growing up as a kid. I saw it for the first time in my teenage years. I think people tend to love those movies because of the nostalgia, but I don't get any nostalgia from A Christmas Story because I didn't watch it until later. However I also didn't grow up watching Elf (I was in high school when it came out) and I love it, so who knows.

When I was in Destin earlier this year there were 3 dudes in a car in the drive-thru who paid for their food at CFA in 3 separate transactions, all in cash. I couldn't believe it.
