Please pray for my wifes family, we finally persuaded my very frail mother-in-law to get vaxxed in late August while she was staying with us in Kentucky...but two of my wifes brothers and sister and their families that live down there refused to get the shot..now every last one of them has Covid along with most of their church. We were going down tommorow night for the weekend, but we are going to have leave today instead to go get the MiL and bring her back up here and take care of her while they all quarantine.

As aggravated as I am at their stubborn ignorance, they are all really good humans and I love them dearly..I pray that they all make it, every one of them has pretty bad health issues of one kind or another, and I pray that my Mil doesn’t get it, and if she does that the vaccine does it's job...for myself I don't want us to get it again, but somebody has to care for her, she can not take care of herself anymore.

Glad you made a choice for vaccine. It’s not for everyone and no reason to call people ignorant who make a different choice.

Who the crap said it meant you could not catch covid? I sure as hell know it doesn't. I also know 85-90% of the people catching it in our area since July are unvaxxed, and 97-99% of the deaths are unvaxxed....simple math is a hell of a thing.

I fully support a persons right to abstain. I had almost no one I knew personally die from Covid in the first year and a half of this mess, but in the last 5 months I have had six people I know, including two healthy mid thirties folks that I have known since birth...The common denominator?..every last one of them was anti-vaccine.

Our nerves are fried...I don't want to argue about it after this, and I would just appreciate your prayers and not your passive-aggressive sarcasm. I don't want to come off hateful...sorry if it does.

The Doc told my two sister-in-laws that tested positive today that he thinks it is the rapidly spreading Omicron in their area...his opinion given to them was that if so, it would be far less chance of extreme sickness...I hope he is tight

Thank God my MiL is not sick so far despite being in close contact all week with 8-10 people who are currently infected. I pray it stays that way, she is extremely frail.

We just got back home a few minutes ago and I am exhausted.

Not to sound coy, but might be a blessing in disguise. Sounds like Omicron most likely based on the amount of spread and by all accounts so far, that appears to be a much milder strain and I’d bet helps build some natural immunities to protect in the future

My feelings about it are totally based on local numbers over the last 6 months...85-90% of the new cases are unvaxxed and 95-99% of the deaths are unvaxxed...that is simple math to me. I am as conservative as you can get, but I refuse to be blinded.

All this Covid $&¡7 is so crazy and so random, I try not to judge anyone for doing what they feel is best for them in relation to it, whether they be maskers or anti-maskers, vaxxers or anti-vaxxers.

Life is too short, I hope you can mend fences with your family.
