Here’s the rundown:
He’s better than Max Browne, that’s one thing I can say for sure. Kedon had a monster year in 2019 and has since regressed. A lot of people point to the O-line but the pass pro was decent this year and he still didn’t look great.
He had a super star WR group his first few years, three currently in the NFL and one who is about to be there. While that makes his evaluation tougher, remember he was playing in an outdated and extremely ineffective system.
Bottom line he looked like he had the yips. He needs some new scenery and a new system. I think a fresh start will do wonders. Shoulder injuries have capped how hard he can drive the ball, but when he’s on he’s accurate and a good improviser. He’s mobile enough, but nothing crazy. Again, when he’s on, he’s got great touch. If you make him comfortable and give him something to work with he’ll be fine.
I think he’ll be a great addition and I wish him nothing but success. He was put in a bad position partly due to his own play, but a lot of it falls on a deeply flawed system and incompetent coaching.
