Let me say first that I don’t drink alcohol hardly any outside of beer because I had enough whiskey and stuff in high school and have no desire to go down that path again, but my question is what is the difference in this stuff versus the cheap stuff?

Does it taste that different? Is it smoothness? Get you drunk faster? I honestly don’t know and all I could taste when drinking anything like this was that it was alcohol and burned going down 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had both the 12 year and 18 year Macallen and the 18 had way more complex flavors, more flavor forward with a very long finish. They are both very smooth in my opinion. I can’t imagine how complex and deep of flavor a 67 year old would be. But I would love to try it. I started drinking whiskey about 10 years ago, and while some can burn a bit it’s the overall flavors I really enjoy now. Like the differences in types of beer; IPA vs Pale Ale vs Pilsner vs Stout, etc…

Ali was fast, and smart. Foreman was total package. But lacked training regimin of Ali. Ali was greatest, but would have been railroaded by Tyson. Now, take Ali in his prime and put him in a modern S& C prog. Tyson would get kilt, always struggled with reach.

Fury? No way.View attachment 422364
You don't have to worry about reach when you can get inside, Prime Tyson beats all 3 with a combo of body shots and uppercuts, Mike Tysons only flaw was between his ears

It sucks but all three of those guys are day one starters at Bama so I can’t blame them for going there. A lot of us were thinking we would be able to get our picks of the litter with regards to transfers but the fact of the matter is we will always have to compete with the likes of Bama and UGA for the best guys and this year we also have to deal with UF, LSU and Oklahoma who are all going to take the max amount of transfers.
I maintain that Gibbs would have done more in our offense than he could ever dream of doing at Bama, his numbers would have been otherworldly.

Big difference. Smoothness for one, but mostly it's complexity. You can taste dozens of flavor notes in really complex whiskey. Similar to wine, a good wine will have lots of different flavor notes all in one sip. It's a cool experience, but takes a while and practice with decent whiskey to learn to detect them.

Not if he tried to rope a dope him he wouldn't have, Tyson would've busted his liver open

Ali was known for that tactic but that wasn't his only tool in his bag. When he was at his prime he was a force.

I would love to see Ali vs Tyson, or cross-generational greats at their prime have that battle. In my opinion, Ali is the greatest heavyweight of all time.

Prime Ali would have mentally tortured prime Tyson. And he would have beat him in the ring too.
maybe. Tyson at 18 was so brutal, cat fast in those first two steps. Again, take Ali in his prime in today's S&C regimin, all day.

Yeah. Some of us said that and got flamed for it. The rich are going to benefit more than the poor in the portal. Why not go to Team A and slide into a championship roster vs going to Team B and hoping for 9 wins.

Not so fun fact. Based on 247Sports composite. 3 of our top 4 ranked recruits for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 classes never played meaningful snaps here in their career.

I already know Heupel is a better developer of talent than Pruitt, but I’m really hoping he’s also a better evaluator of talent. Cause looking back at those classes… woof
It wasn't nearly that bad, unless I'm looking at the wrong guys. I'm looking at 247 composite commitments. A bunch of those guys were just post-Pruitt transfers, not bad players.

2018's top 4 were:
JJP
AT
Emerson
Bryce Thompson

I'd call that 2 of 4

2019 was:
Wright
Morris
Toots
Crouch

All 4 played plenty of games here - basically 1.5-2 year starters, with Wright going on Y4. None were busts, though Morris seems to be struggling still, but he's played a ton of games.

2020 you have a case with Wideman and HB. Big O is the one checkmark, but Key started his Fr year and still would be if he didn't transfer.

We can certainly still bring in talent here. We just have to keep it here...by ya know not getting caught with McDy's bags like a dumb*** bammer 🤣

There are NO great boxers in this generation
Fury? Loma? May? Klitschko? Alvarez?

Main thing that's changed is people stopped paying so much attention so a lot of people have never heard of the best, but that's on them. Fault to the UFC too, they grabbed a big piece of the eye share.

Sort of like baseball. Viewership has decreased so much, the overall culture doesn't know the names of the best these days. Not like a Canseco, Sosa/McGwire, or A-Rod where the name could reach all of society and just be known, like is still the case in basketball and football.
