My wife is relatively pale compared to a lot of Hispanic people, and gets labeled a "woman of color" by leftist people (she hates it) when it is convenient for them to use her as their token example (which has happened so often and has greatly colored my absolute disdain of the left that has grown in the last few years).

She has deeper, richer European heritage than I do. But I'm "white".

Same with mine. She’s half South American, half Czech. She gets the same treatment and thinks it’s ridiculous.

The fools here had the guts to hold political rallies blocking up her business with posters saying how they support "minorities", and speeches on their love of "people of color", while cratering her business with dozens of people blocking the entrance right in the middle of the pandemic.

I'll never forget that.

It's just like them calling conservatives racists for wanting a better vetting system for all those white "people of color" Afghans.

I see people as people. There are, in fact, some cultures that are garbage (and I'm not willing to sit here and argue over it). Does my opinion mean that I discount or abandon people under that culture? No, I just believe in many cases they need to grow and adapt. But they're still people.

Leftists see people as tools, shells, or bags of skin to point to and use as they see fit (usually for photo ops and cash).

Therein lies the difference between me and the average leftist.

I don't care if Cortez is white, black, brown, red, green or yellow as well as anyone else but when I see hypocrisy then I point it out.
