It's because in their own unique way, many vaxxed people are actually vaccine skeptics. They don't seem themselves that way (i.e., only idiot, unsophisticated MAGA people would "doubt science") and would never say that they are skeptical, but their behavior says otherwise.

If you are vaccinated and still hole yourself up in your house like a hermit and live in perpetual fear of getting COVID, then it seems as though you doubt that the vaccine will prevent you from getting gravely ill. The people who are most petrified of the virus are people in low-risk categories who are vaccinated with the booster and mask everywhere. It's hilarious.

Remember, liberals had a "I don't trust the Trump vaccine" narrative teed up in the event Trump won in 2020, and if Trump did win you would see much more outright vaccine skepticism on the left, because they are skeptical about a vaccine before it was even developed since they believed Trump was pressuring folks to rush it.

The PCR tests were manipulated through this whole pandemic by running 2x, 3x cycles more then normal to get positive results..normal cycle is 20 to 30 i believe...and covid test were regularly be run. Between 40 and 70..meaning the amounts of virus normally would have been detected...

Sounds as if the virus is doing strategic planning to not kill people.

Obviously it doesn't. A wave goes around. The most vulnerable people die. It mutates, but now more people's immune systems are prepared for it (vaccination or prior infection) so fewer people die. Rinse, repeat.

I pray Ivey doesn’t give in again and go back to a mask mandate or lockdown. With an election on the horizon I don’t think she can afford to and she knows it. Just hope we can get her out of there.

Not "strategic planning," and I've been very clear with that in the past. The scientific term is "natural selection."

Was at home by myself this weekend and it was the first time in church in 4 years without having to tend to a kid, so I could actually pay attention and notice my surroundings. I would venture to say the average age of our congregation is in somewhere their mid 60’s. There was exactly two people in this age category and up who were wearing masks yesterday. Every other person (probably 10-12 total) who was masked was 40 or less. I’m thoroughly confused. Either the older demographic has accepted their potential fate and risk given their ages or they’re still intelligent and logical enough to grasp the situation. We know the later is at least partially true as they’re not influenced by social media

There's also the possiblity that the younger mask wearers weighed the risk/benefit analysis and made personal decisions on their own without media interference or influence.

Ah...always refreshing to read the "educated" opinions of the "professionals" on VN.
Hopefully the folks who've spent their entire lives studying viruses will soon come to their senses and just ask the morons on here how best to proceed.

Hopefully these aren't the same professionals who have a vested financial interest in the pharmaceutical companies who produce the jab.

Will be interesting to see the outcome of a society that stops listening to the professionals on given topics due to conspiracy theories. Don't take away my liberties, dammit!!
