Sure, but dead last bro. Like saying Vanderbilt played good defense when they lost 31-0.
Wait till next year’s recruiting class. Napier will recruit much better than Mullen did. He will turn out to be a great hire for Florida their best hire since Urban left I think. Unfortunately for us we can’t beat them no matter who their coach is.

Yep. Everyone laughing at UF now wont be laughing long. Napier is a recruiting psycho. Thats 95% of the winning formula.

I went ahead and added Florida - even though Rivals didn't list them. As I told my buddy who is a Florida fan -

Quarterbacks - 0
Running backs - 0
Wide receivers - 0
Cornerbacks - 0

You have to be considered a loser on a day when Vandy has a higher rated football recruiting class than you do - no matter the reason.
Of course they will do better next year - but it looked like they would win the East after beating us and almost beating Alabama.
I have never seen the wheels come off so fast.
Go back and look at most Florida teams. Once they lose a couple games they usually mail it in once they realize the East is out of reach. They are in for a ROUGH season next year. They should start off 1-3. Utah, Kentucky, Tennessee are 3 of the 4 games. LSU and A&M are the West games. Seriously, I wouldn’t be shocked if Vanderbilt is their only SEC win next year and it may be a nail biter.

Two points:

1) National Signing day hasn’t arrived yet, it’s in February.

2) Florida had a surprisingly good day. FL fans were only expecting to sign 4 or 5 players, they ended up with 9 total, 3 of which were unexpected and very highly ranked.

We’re all still sorta stunned at how Napier was able to pull 5-star Kamari Wilson, Rivals 5-star Shemar James, and high 4-star Devin Moore after 9 days on the job, and going up against Bama and Georgia on James and Wilson, Notre Dame on Moore.

Yes, we had very low expectations going in, but I’m happy too. Looking forward to seeing who is added by NSD in February.

Also, congrats to Heupel and TN on a strong Early Signing Day.

From what I understand, Napier focused on Feb signing day at ULL in his first year as well and it worked out for him there. Apparently this isn't his first rodeo in recruiting. I won't poo poo on the UF '22 class just yet.
I just hope y'all found your Fulmer to our Spurrier 😉

It does seem like several dumptruck loads of the foulest smelling feces were suddenly dumped on them. However, they now know what Tennessee fans have endured a few times.

Well things change. Florida couldn’t beat us at one point. I don’t live in this world of pessimism. Personally, I love the hire for us. He will have a terrible recruiting class. Mullen didn’t recruit very well. So next year they will be bad. If they have a bad year, be hard for the players to buy in. Florida is in worse shape than anyone wants to admit. They have hired like 3-4 coaches last 10-12 years. That sounds like us which is not good. They lost 9/12 games or something like that to power 5 schools. Sounds like us in our dark days. They have made it to the Sec Championship twice but both times were big under dogs to the West. They haven’t won anything since urban left. They kinda remind me of us. Especially in the beginning when we didn’t know it was happening. They better hope Napier is the guy. Napier has to compete now with Bama, Ga, Miami, Florida State and the rest of the big boys to get back to where they once were. So he will have to recruit top 3. Beating out Texas AM, Bama, GA. Let’s see if he can do that every year like those schools have done it. I’m calling BS until he proves he can recruit on the Urban Meyer level. Kids are forgetting how Florida has won like they have forgotten how we won.

Will probably get flamed for this and it’s probably my own BVS but I am not marking that game as a win until we win it.

Even when we had the better team they won even with Muschamp and Mac.

He didn’t compete with sec teams for talent either.

Yep and there's also the portal in play. Still a lot of recruiting left to do for UF.....and UT.

From Rivals :

WINNERS
Deion Sanders

Name, Image and Likeness

Tennessee

Tyre West (Rivals.com)
When Tennessee landed four-star running back
Justin Williams
on Wednesday morning, it was not a complete shock as he favored the Vols over Auburn. But I was skeptical Tuesday night when I got word that the Vols were possibly the team to beat for four-star DT
Tyre West
, who was expected to flip from Georgia but Florida State seemed like the destination. Instead, coach Josh Heupel and his staff pulled off a big win by landing West, a former five-star, who has tons of ability. Another big addition late was four-star DE
James Pearce
, who doesn’t talk much but lets his game speak for itself.

Texas

Michigan

Auburn

Texas A&M

Alabama

Maryland

LOSERS

Florida State

LSU

Clemson

Florida
Kentucky, NC and the SEC as a whole belong in the W column. Also the ACC with 2 teams and the PAC 12 with 1 team in the top 25 belong in the L column. SEC gobbled up ACC and Pack 12 share this year like Pacman.

Now listen, I am a life long Vol......but do not get tricked into thinking Florida has an empty stable of players. There is a ton of deep talent on that team that just needs some organization and motivation and while I don't think Billy Napes is a huge home run hire, he is definitely organized and will build a family environment in Gainesville. Trust me, he will have a very substantial team that he brings into Knoxville in '22. I have to chuckle at my brethren who assume that due to the late troubles, the Gators will stumble into a stadium that they have consistently pretty much owned for 20 years. Lets consider proving ourselves before we begin to assume any leveling of the playing field vs. Gators.

They said the same thing about us last year,

F Deion and the horse he rode in on
Why can he get away with playing the race card anyways? I wonder if there were all white colleges if it would be considered racist and be forced to desegregation? Yet Coach Prime gets to say "come to a historical black university because your black". I have nothing against black colleges, or black people, but it seems hypocritical that he allowed to do just that, play the race card. JsU can have their one historical moment tho, not really worried about them.
