From Rivals :

WINNERS
Deion Sanders

Name, Image and Likeness

Tennessee

Tyre West (Rivals.com)
When Tennessee landed four-star running back
Justin Williams
on Wednesday morning, it was not a complete shock as he favored the Vols over Auburn. But I was skeptical Tuesday night when I got word that the Vols were possibly the team to beat for four-star DT
Tyre West
, who was expected to flip from Georgia but Florida State seemed like the destination. Instead, coach Josh Heupel and his staff pulled off a big win by landing West, a former five-star, who has tons of ability. Another big addition late was four-star DE
James Pearce
, who doesn’t talk much but lets his game speak for itself.

Texas

Michigan

Auburn

Texas A&M

Alabama

Maryland

LOSERS

Florida State

LSU

This is a very good start but, we gotta make sure that the NCAA committee doesn't shut down our fine university first.

Add USC to the list of losers at # 79 according to rivals! However, I think they are getting a lot of transfers from OU.

I went ahead and added Florida - even though Rivals didn't list them. As I told my buddy who is a Florida fan -

Quarterbacks - 0
Running backs - 0
Wide receivers - 0
Cornerbacks - 0

You have to be considered a loser on a day when Vandy has a higher rated football recruiting class than you do - no matter the reason.
Of course they will do better next year - but it looked like they would win the East after beating us and almost beating Alabama.
I have never seen the wheels come off so fast.

I love a happy ending…

I think Florida has to be one of the biggest losers. For a team bodies after all the transfers, they only managed to get 10 commits, 1 of which being a kicker. Their second highest rated OL didn't sign and looks like he might be headed elsewhere as well.

They closed with 1 5-Star and 2 4-Stars on the final day... pretty impressive considering their coach has been in place for all of two weeks

Two points:

1) National Signing day hasn’t arrived yet, it’s in February.

2) Florida had a surprisingly good day. FL fans were only expecting to sign 4 or 5 players, they ended up with 9 total, 3 of which were unexpected and very highly ranked.

We’re all still sorta stunned at how Napier was able to pull 5-star Kamari Wilson, Rivals 5-star Shemar James, and high 4-star Devin Moore after 9 days on the job, and going up against Bama and Georgia on James and Wilson, Notre Dame on Moore.

Yes, we had very low expectations going in, but I’m happy too. Looking forward to seeing who is added by NSD in February.

Also, congrats to Heupel and TN on a strong Early Signing Day.
