So what is Barstools connection to Jackson state? I know it’s rumored that barstool and some gaming company gave him tons of money to go to JSU… but why? What’s in it for them?
Chaos. Just to see what would happen, I’d imagine.

It's just so dumb that we are even getting penalized for stuff Pruitt and Co did and nobody here was actually involved in it.

Yeah the NCAA will look pretty pathetic if they are going to do anything with us at this point with the landscape changing and what coaches are admitting... But of course I won't put it past them... because... UT...

Especially now that NIL is totally allowed and Jimbo is on record admitting to players getting paid.

I think the same could be said for us turning ourselves in when this stuff was on the brink of becoming legal.. I detested Pruitt and wanted him gone in year 2, but the overall process of how this played out still doesn’t really sit well with me.

I kind of like the backbone we showed. Obviously **** hit the fan and when Pruitt got handed his options he put us in a position to sack up, and to our credit we did. I mean honestly I don't know how we managed to come out of it so well, but I think being able to land Danny White as AD was amazing. Especially given what we had just had happen. And maybe Josh Heupel wasn't the absolute best coach we could have gotten had we "paid up" but he may well be the best fit and it's becoming more and more obvious to me that fit is as important as talent. It's why Tony V is killing it, he is a better fit for UT/SEC ball than the guy he replaced even though a ton of people that know baseball thought Serrano was going to be the guy to do something special here.

M'Bay has a pic of UT men's basketball on his story.... He's crystal balled to Auburn so probably just playing the game, but interesting...

Don’t know how, don’t know when, but mane this feels like Prime is gonna end up in prison. 😂
I’m just curious how NIL works in this intstance. The coach is employees by barstool and that company pays a recruit to go to that school is that against NIL rules? It would be like a Mercedes dealership that Saban owns having a kid on commercials and stuff. I truly don’t know how NIL rules are written other than the school can’t pay the kids directly.

You're attempting a con job. You're trying to cover over what you actually said:

Your jeering and unequivocal points were (1) that no one in the RF should be able to enjoy the present dysfunction and mess at Florida (with bonus of the Urbie Meyer spectacle) without you personally ridiculing them. You are incensed at our enjoyment and want to punish us for it. And (2) you predict that Florida is going to beat us next year in Knoxville.

Now you're trying to CYA. It's dishonest.
This was a great post.

I have traumatic florida syndrome.

laughing at all of you making fun of Florida now and then completely loosing it when they walk into Knoxville and beat the Vols again for like the 1000th time in a row.
We are laughing at FL now because they deserve to be laughed at.
We are also laughing at who liked this post.

They won't use that many. Will leave some buffer if the NCAA or SEC decide to limit scholarships. I'd say they may go into Fall camp with probably somewhere between 75-80 players on scholarships. But I also think a few PWOs will be on the roster so when the dust settles on final ruling for punishments we'll see some of them given those extra scholarships.
The NCAA would not impose scholarship limit retroactivly.
