It may be the Mayo clinic that she goes to. They called today, and talked like they'd see her. Her Dr is faxing over her records, and they'll be in touch with her. I'd trust them over Atlanta if they say her stoma needs redone.

Her dr got all her records faxed to mayo today. Now we wait and see if they're actually going to look at her, and give an evaluation on what should be done.

They said she'd have to go to Minnesota for the Drs to give an opinion on the situation. That said, the Cleveland clinic in Florida called, and they're good to see her, and give their opinion about everything. As far as if they think surgery, moving her stoma, is a good idea, and if they have any other ideas about the infections. She has an appointment January 28th, so road trip! Or we might fly, idk yet.

Thank you. It's a long trip, but I've kinda felt more better about going to this place, and the dr she's seeing has excellent reviews. I'm a big believer in everything has a purpose, and for some reason it was meant for her to go there, and hopefully we can be a blessing to someone, as we're looking for help!

Tiffany went to her gastro Dr today, and she made some sense. She was explaining to her about all the trouble and infection, and the Dr gave her opinion. The stoma is made from part of her bowels (not to be gross), and many times there has been fecal matter in her urine. She said it seems to her that her urine backing up at night is causing some of that in her bowels to go into her kidneys, and could explain the infection, especially since it gets so bad. She said moving the stoma to where it'd drain right may just be the answer. Idk, but it's been the best explanation I've heard.

I agree, and would love for that to work. I am a little concerned about that surgery though, just her being able to handle it.
