11th on Rivals 14th on 247

I know the "biggest story" of the day was the flip from FSU to JS,

but IMO it should've been the Honorary Mich St Spartan.
I was just coming to post why did Hunter flip to Jackson State?
Deion must've wrote one heck of a check

And both will still be pointless unless we close the gap with the top of the SEC.
For anyone to expect that to happen this year, after all the crap that’s happened over the past decade plus is beyond insane. All things considered, I will take this and build off it the next couple years.

I imagine being a Corner, Deion might be able to coach that. But the kid might've hurt his NFL chances some, playing at JS instead of a Power 5 school
Yeah I know some guys make it from a HBCU and Deion has friends so may be he'll be ok but I agree not playing in a Power 5 and being touted as the #1 seems kind of suspect

If has anywhere close to what they project him to be he’ll dominate that level and fill the stat books.

I was feeling pretty good about it until I saw Tennessee behind Missouri and Kentucky

That's Michigan we are behind if you are looking at Rivals. This is the best class I ever remember Kentucky signing, it's not a sign of things to come but they did very well. We will still own them as long as JH is here because the offense he runs is a terrible match up for Stoops.

Plenty of NFL guys didn't play power 5 ball. That excuse doesn't hold water. Jerry Rice ring a bell? Steve McNair? Just watch player intros before every game, plenty of small college guys playing and have played. If you're good enough the scouts will find you, that's what they do for a living.

I could care less what they're ranked, just makes it that much better when we curb stomp them. Nice to watch Stoops turn about 20 different shades of red.

Georgia didn't lose to Alabama because of a disparity in the talent levels between the teams.

That's true.

So with THAT in mind, how does Heupel and staff stack up against others coaching staff in SEC?

Spurrier made the SEC Championship game TWICE with South Carolina and they had a recruiting average of 8th (in conference)...over the years he coached.

Can Heupel get to Atlanta if his staff is recruiting top 15 nationally and 4th in the SEC overall every year?

If UGA continues to field a pedestrian offense we could definitely find a way to beat them. Hell we competed pretty well this year. The way we scheme it up allows us to compete with more talented teams and if we are around 10th in talent it's definitely possible, with a good QB to knock off anybody. Clemson was recruiting top 5 classes when they started winning titles.

I saw on the SEC Network they had us 10th and 22nd in the Country, where did they get those rankings when everyone else has us a lot higher.

247 has Tennessee at 14th
Rivals had Tennessee at 11th 5th in the sec.

Rivals has Ky’s total at 1960 and Tennessee’s at 1959……virtually identical (4th and 5th)

247 has Missouri about 7 points ahead of Tennessee and KY at about 9 points ahead of Tennessee.

SEC network is part of ESPN…..they have Tennessee low…..or did have I haven’t seen it in a while.

You do know Georgia averaged more ppg than us right?

Yeah by .2 points....

Wow they sure are doing well to only average .2 points more than we do with a bagillion five stars all over the field

Oh and we are 19th in total offense to their 27th and they only have 200 more total yards having played one more game than we did....and we had to go against their defense

So what exactly are you trying say?
