Chris Davies and his father Donald have been fighting for their mother and wife Kathy Davies’ right to try the drug Ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment at Fauquier Health hospital in Warrenton, Virginia, for the past few weeks. But the hospital — where Chris happens to work as a radiologic technologist — had put his mother through a series of legal hoops seemingly designed to block the treatment from being given to her.

On Monday, December 13, Virginia’s 20th Judicial Court found Fauquier Health in contempt of court after refusing to comply with previous orders and ruled that by 9:00 p.m. Eastern time tonight, Kathy Davies must be given the dose of Ivermectin as prescribed by a doctor retained by the Davies family. Additionally — if the hospital did not comply — the state had the right to fine the hospital $10,000 per day. That order would have been applied retroactively from December 9 onwards. The court also ordered that the Davies family be given police escort if necessary to administer the drug to their mother.

It is insane to me that a hospital thinks it gets to dictate against peoples' will like this. Insane.

The people making those decisions should be hung. Literally.

There is a doctor that prescribed the Ivermectin. So where does the malpractice come in at?

This is a real problem. Major pharmacies will not prescribe the drug either.

I know a doctor who will do this. He’s treated thousands of patients, most with an early to mid stage COVID diagnosis. Hasn’t lost one yet. Range of treatment paths, some include this medication. His scripts go through a local mom and pop pharmacy.

He’s disgusted with the state of affairs with respect to COVID.

The demonization of a drug that is used in humans around the world, and can be bought OTC in many countries, is what's horrifying to me. This is a treatment that is totally safe and has a long history documenting side effects and health impacts. Yet here we are being told by numerous government health agencies, via literal propaganda, that it is only "horse paste" and is unsafe for human use. We are watching the government create a market to funnel money to an already obscenely wealthy industry in real time, at the expense of people's lives.

The hospital is right and wrong with this one. They have the right to not allow some random dr or RN to administer any meds to their patients directly. However what they should’ve done is say the admitting physician disagrees with the treatment and discharges the patient for not following their recommended patient care plan

I agree 100 percent. There is a doctor that I go to church with who prescrives treatments online. He says he hasn't lost a single patient and only a few have been admitted into the hospital. He says it's absolutely criminal what the media and many hospitals are doing. (Keep in mind, this doctor is very much pro-vaccines)

There's some weird stuff going around. Last Friday morning I had a 102 fever, fatigue, body aches, headache. By 8pm it was gone. Like it was never there. A couple neighbors had the same thing earlier in the week. Wtf?
