How do the numbers work? Is it still 25 max per year counting transfers and incoming freshmen on scholarships?

How many NIL walk ons can you have?

I watched his TCU highlights, he runs very similar to Kamala. Same style

Yeah, but he seems the wishy-washy type according to his recruitment incidents. I phrased things the way I did because I was thinking along the lines of what Jackervol said, "We gotta stop looking at this like we are getting a kid for good." Tiyon Evans and now Zach Evans, if he comes here will we be repeating history Evansly? So based on what we know, or seem to know, should we pursue the guy or not?

25 + the number we have transfer after the fall term up to 7 (new rule to help schools hard hit by the portal). So up to 32. Not sure how we are looking on the 85 cap for next year.

Currently unclear if the time of the transfer or the time they enter the portal is used for counting transfers against next year.

In order to count the transfers, they must transfer in December (transferring out from ( UT) to get the seven replacements. If only three transfer out, then we can only sign three. I think.:)

IIRC, to sign over the 25 you can add one for one up to seven if your player is in good standing and enters the portal AFTER the early signing period. Players can not be added once Fall camp starts.

As to how this guy would stack up with the two recruit prospects from high school. This guy comes from a program who does pass quiet a lot. I would expect he would be a better pass blocker coming in than either freshman. This gives him an edge for me. That is, looking for immediate results from the position.

If we only get one I would prefer Williams. From everything I've read he seems to be pretty well rounded with a supportive family. Evens seems a bit like a confused gadfly.
Williams definitely the better cultural fit... well, based on rumors. I've never met either guy.

based on everything i read here, most of you thought it was a mistake to take alvin kamara. i mean, he had a bit of baggage, but it seemed to work out fine. but you all know more about the character of these kids than i do

3 years of eligibility. We got 2 more good backs so we will land one or 2 atleast and we still got 2 studs coming back.

No they don’t. We take a teaspoon of information and speculate it into a gallon of baseless conclusions. It has always been this way.
