The Atlanta Braves

We probably should have seen this coming when Tillman put up a 2 piece on their “vaunted defense”

Lol get these dudes outta here. Big time frauds

Hope y’all made some money today, tried to tell ya
This loss is so funny because it was such a predictable event in a sport that is extremely unpredictable.

UGA is not the most well-equipped team to beat Alabama given how their offense is constituted. If UGA had simply a pretty good defensive squad with a pretty good running game but had an awesome QB and WRs that attacked vertically downfield (in other words, they were not as good of a team as they actuallly are), then they probably would have won this game in a shootout.

The funny thing is that if UGA's defense wasn't so good, Kirby would have known already that he shouldn't be playing Bennett. Although Stetson was just one of his problems today.

You simply cannot play 15 games of college football and have your defense be immovable every game. It’s impossible. It’s not 1998. And when it came to a shootout and having to score points Bennett failed to do it.

As an unabashed Ohio State hater, I actually think on a neutral field Ohio State could beat Georgia

Kirby is an enhanced Will Muschamp. A lot of people say that Kirby has built an Alabama-like program at UGA, which is true, but it only tells part of the story. He has built Alabama circa 2009-2012 at UGA.

The Alabama that Nick Saban himself has built is a program that evolves with the times. It now has space age offenses that put up gargantuan numbers with awesome QB play, and a defense that can give up yards in bunches at times but is opportunistic and plays well in the red zone.

Kirby either doesn't understand this, or he is nowhere near as good at evolving as his daddy is.

I actually cut Kirby some slack on the Fromm vs. Fields decision because Fromm was a pretty good player (hell of a lot better than Stetson) and Fields was a true freshman. However, this year, it is patently obvious to anybody with a brain that he shouldn't be playing Bennett. It just hadn't really mattered until today.

Give me your Heupel grades for season 1
A

Took a gutted team held together with Elmers glue to 7 wins, found a QB, made the offense look like it actually knew what it was doing when they couldn't find their way out of a paper bad last year. Only played one game you'd like to have back (Pitt). Not only won, but blew out every opponent we should have beaten. Defense was nowhere near as bad as I feared, although it still was not great.

He made a gourmet meal out of chicken cartilage and off brand mayonnaise.

B+. The only thing I question is starting Milton game 1. I don't buy "he looks great in practice" BS.

I can’t prove it but I think he knew Bailey sucked and that Maurer would be gone and promised Milton the job to get him on campus so he’d have two scholarships QB’s at least
