Georgia has all these 4 and 5* recruits, but Alabama has the 5* QB and UGA plays a 5’10 walk-on that can manage a game, but that is about it.

Kirby is the best recruiter in the country. But he's a slightly better version of Jeremy Pruitt on the field. He's obsessed with the idea of winning a natty with an elite defense and a game managing offense. He can't move past it.

Saban figured out that era of CFB was dead 5 years ago when he went and hired his least favorite person in the world... Lane Kiffin.

Less about ratings, more about Georgia having zero high quality wins. Neither does ND though. You could argue Clemson or Tennessee are uga best wins.
