TAMU beat Bama. That’s enough to get any big time recruit looking their way. Oh but people want to say it’s all about money lol.

And then lost to Mississippi State, LSU (after their coach was fired and missing key players), and Ole Miss, after already losing to a less talented Arkansas with a second year coach two years removed from being the worst team in the SECW.

Money isn't the only thing, but money is a hugeeee part of it.
