Ahh yes I did just find one, but he's opposite of an expert hahaI can’t remember specifically, but I can remember at least 2 National pundits that we’d be a 4 win team.
IIRC in the last 100 pages or so someone posted a screenshot of Mike Farrell predicting us to go 4-8 this season. What expert had us winning 3-4 games?
Outside of a few super negas on here, I never saw that prediction. Most intelligent folks knew we still had a very good offensive coach, coming off a 3-SEC-win team, a favorable schedule, and despite big losses - still a good bit of talent (top 20 composite team talent).
Vegas had us at 6-6.5 wins and they put their money where their mouth is. SP+ had us at 6.9 wins. 247's national writer had us at 6-6. The 4 local writers had us at 6-6 to 7-5.
I don't get this notion we were expected to be trash going into the season. This was essentially a 6-6 team last year. Nobody with a sane mind predicted us to take such a big drop off from (lol) cornbread.
Haha, yep there’s one. We live in that guys head!Ahh yes I did just find one, but he's opposite of an expert haha
Ladies and Gents....Spoons Farrell!!
"Harrison Bailey should be the starter, but the Vols have brought in two other guys via the portal"
You can feel the bitterness seething from his article. "HarRiSoN BaiLeY is CleArlY a Six sTar LiKe I puShEd HiM tO Be...AnD TrEy SMiTh iS a aWfUl"
That guy...
"Farrell revealed his SEC predictions this week and he doesn’t think Josh Heupel is going to win many games in his first season as Tennessee’s head coach.
The Rivals national columnist has the Vols going 4-8 in 2021 and finishing sixth in the SEC East"

Early signing day has ruined college football
Transfer portal is a joke
Your love fest post this morning to @de1conley is the first step. How does one go about joining this secret juice club? Is it good juice? I certainly hope so.
100% agree, portal is gonna become as big as HS recruiting soon. Especially for programs like us that need immediate depth and bodies that have been in college s&c programs for a couple years. Should help us close the gap much much sooner. The early signing period, I agree. The transfer portal may just be Tennessee’s ticket to close the talent gap. No way we climb back in the game with traditional HS recruiting. Commitment doesn’t exist in today’s game. Not with coaches and not with players.
You sound just like a troll trying to get a rise out of people in hereSo there's zero connection to arch manning, when the entire family believes in cut?
I'm sure arch will ignore his uncles when they say Cut made them who they were...
Within two weeks was the original commentWe gonna know this news this year? LMAO @butchna
That’s a blanket statement that is just not true. There are a lot of season ticket holders that kept paying for those tickets and kept coming to games when times were really bad - not wanting to lose that grandfather status. It would have been just as easy and way less expensive to give the tickets/donation up and buy tickets for just the “good” games. Some of the “not desirable” games you couldn’t give the tickets away and season ticket holders still paid for them. And even grandfathered, those tickets + donation are expensive.Ticket prices went up because the stadium needs to be redone. Our stadium as glorious as it is, looks like crap compared to newer stadiums. The colleges with those newer stadiums charge the prices Tennessee is now charging. People were grandfathered in for too long on Season tickets and the university lost considerable amounts of money on that. While people who were grandfathered in were making bank off those tickets by selling them for extremely high prices during the times we were good.
