The McDonald's experience thread.

Some of the Krystals in Knoxville closed because they could provide enough staffing. They would shut down the lowest volume store

Don't know if anyone is watching the game tonight but Krystal actually had 2 commercials in pregame. Wish we would get one in Hoptown.

here's what I like to get at McDonalds: breakfast burritos.

Here's my best mcDonalds experience, and it wasn't a one time thing. I had to move to Taiwan. Now, in Taiwan, McDonalds is more of a foreign curiosity and the people who work there take it more seriously. The burgers are a lot better than they are here. They deep fry their apple pies like they did in the USA 40 years ago. This is key. Under no circumstances would you pass by a McDonalds with fried pies and not go in and get one.

When I was working there, 10 years ago, there was a dollar menu and mcdoubles would be a dollar menu item. In taiwan, they charged about $1.30 US for a Mcdouble. The nearest McDonalds was about 45 minutes away, so if somebody went, you would want to give them $10 and tell them to bring me back like 6 mcdoubles and 2 pies. Yum. Delicious. And, as you all know, mcdonalds hamburgers don't age. You'd get enough to eat 'em for 2 or 3 days.

I like McDonald's pancakes. Off topic, but I recently saw a commercial for dunkin donuts, and they're serving pancakes now. Instead of saying syrup, they called it dipping serum. I wanted to punch someone in the face over that!
