If I’m a WR looking to transfer, I’m looking at Tennessee.
ive wondered if Hooker stays that maybe there’s a shot we can call Tre Turner from Virginia Tech if he decides to leave Bc of the coaching change. That’s Hookers best friend and he’s a nice player. I’m sure we will be in on plenty WRs that are looking to transfer. We need 1 or 2.

Myself as well. He did a good job at Texas. They are realizing that now.

What Tom Herman left behind is a big part of why they are as bad as they are now. There’s a reason with all these open jobs that you aren’t seeing his name pop up anywhere. Very similar to Butch’s tenure at Tennessee.
Texas has become a career nut kick.
The parallels with Tennessee over the last decade have been striking. They are just missing a one year wonder like Kiffin. Dooley and Charlie Strong had identical records, Butch and Herman had similar career arcs, and now they’ve hired an Alabama coordinator who looks like he’s headed to 3 years and out.

AP said on the post-game podcast that unless UK loses to Louisville, they will have bowl preference over us because there is a rule saying a bowl can’t take a team to jump another that has a greater than two game win differential. Says Music City is by far the most likely. Not sure why the Charlotte bowl is a low possibility.

Could probably add years to his life. Heaven knows he has enough money to have someone completely manage his nutrition…. Probably don’t even need that… they are on staff already. It’s just not a priority for him… scoring points is 😂

C’mon Nick, we’re playing the long game here. Need this coach to be at Tennessee for a long time.

You get CJH in shape, you can name your price in the whole state. Just think about it, especially if you want back in the state…

Can’t remember if it was last yr or the yr before but do you remember we had a streak of no offensive touchdowns for like somewhere between 10-15 qtrs. Can’t remember the exact number but it was disgusting. So glad that regime is long gone. Complete losers.
Did you hear the commentators last night? The had to change course on air. Something like no slight to Jeremy but, its great for the fans to see....something... well completely different from previous years. Where they really struggled.

Miss our chats with @Jaws. Could always count on him to pump up his coach as something to aspire. 😔

I’m still here to chat…. It wasn’t hard to pump him up when we was starting 29-6, winning 10 & 11 games, or winning major bowl games, or wining the East.

This collapse has been unreal.

So to recap, we woke up on October 2nd with the following; FL was ranked 10th in the country, they were two weeks removed from going toe-to-toe with #1 Bama, they were one week removed from a blowout of a clearly improved TN team. National writers were talking about what Mullen was building, recruits were taking notice. Later that night FL lost to Kentucky. And the total collapse had begun. 7 weeks later, only 7 weeks, FL has gone from that scenario to probably firing their coach. The only two wins since have been Vandy and Samford.

We’ve had ****** seasons, but we’ve pretty much known we were ****** from the start. I’ve never seen one where we appeared to be a national contender as late as October, but then literally flopped to the second worst team in the SEC.

I’d say there’s about a 40% chance Mullen can save his job if he beats FSU. But that ain’t happening, so in all likelihood, FL will have a coaching search soon.

I’ll admit, I NEVER saw this coming.

I am still drunk from last night, so sorry if this is a dumb question but do you mean music city bowl is most likely for kentucky or for us?

That’s the danger of the playoff era. When you’ve got a team that’s thinking playoff early in the season, and then they have it ripped away early in the season, you’re left with a team that has 7-8 games left to play with its primary goal off the table.

Got to have a great locker room culture to hold that together.
