Your link shows that those who are vaccine hesitant come from multiple political identities including Democrat and presumably Independents. Hard to claim it's all about political identity when your data shows otherwise and shows other factors that predict hesitancy.

Why not take people at their word they are seeking an exemption for religious reasons rather than suggesting they are lying and all come from one political identity that you happen to not belong to?

I agree that new religious exemption for this vaccine is weak. If it’s been a tenet of your religion that you’ve followed prior to 2020, then I believe that helps your case for legitimacy.

However, to make the leap from religious exemption to political identity is once again creating more problems than solving them. It’s just not true. It’s definitely the framework “we the people” are being fed with the goal of further political division. But vaccine hesitancy is not a political issue.

Correct. Influenza vaccine does meet the definition of a vaccine, it's just variable in efficacy due to the multitude of flu strains.

mRNA shots do not meet the criteria to be called vaccines, as we now know that they do not create immunity (prevention of acquisition and transmission of the infectious agent), but rather decrease the risk of severe illness.

And no, I'm not allowing the revised definition of "vaccine" by the CDC as of two months ago.

You should see the questionnaire McMom had to fill out. Her employer is attempting to prove the legitimacy of her religious exemption.

She literally just told me they changed the paperwork. No more 20 questions. I suspect an HR attorney was consulted and 'splained to the Cs their questions were no bueno.

I’d guess one of Mad4Vaxhole’s buddies was being a tad over zealous and once HR got wind of it they quickly nipped that stupid crap in the bud. I’d guess the branch covidiot was highly disappointed.

Rumor has it at our shop religious exemption requests are a near rubber stamp for approval.
