Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

If he had any training he would have never been in that situation. He’s a punk kid that had zero business being there but that doesn’t mean he’s a murderer. He’s just a kid that has dirtbag parents.

As much right to be there as everyone else that night.

Curious to know what you’re basing the parental statement on?

Sure he had a right to be there but that doesn’t mean he should have been there. Why go out of your way to look for trouble?

I’m basing my parental statement on the fact he was there. I feel the same about any of the rioters that were there.

Kyle was hanging with out his “bro” all day and mom didn’t find out about anything until the “bro” drove him back home to Antioch afterwards and then mom drove him to the local PD.

Sounds pretty typical teenager in a hey mom I’m driving over to hang out with my bro Dom, be back tomorrow kind of way. Kyle said on the stand his car was parked the whole time at Dom’s house.

😂

It’s not typical teenage behavior to go to a riot armed. Or at least it wasn’t when I was a teenager or my kids were teenagers. I hope when mine were teenagers they had better sense than to put themselves in that position. His parents didn’t instill any common sense into him.

If he had gone unarmed then he would be dead. I grew up with a gun rack in my truck at age 16. Call me old school but I don’t find it weird that he was armed. A debate can be had if he should have been there but the way I see it we can question whether the rioters should have been there also. In this case the 2A functioned as it was meant to.

Ah yes, the good old days of 2016 and earlier when our country’s youth appeared to have enough common sense not to riot, loot, commit arson, destroy property and beat people.

Lack of common seems to be running rampant all around the country like it’s a drug in the water supply.

There is no debate on whether he should have been there or not, he shouldn’t have been.

I too grew up with a gun rack in my truck, but I also grew up being knowing I needed to mind my own business.

3 shots, 3 kills in a highly stressful situation, surrounded by possible attackers and knowing who they were and where they were. Call it what you want but it’s not supposed to “look” pretty
This is wrong, at every turn, just wrong.

Splitting hairs. We are supposed to live in a free country. I feel like we can be where we want to be armed or unarmed in public. The problem is when others are there that want to cause trouble they are not used to being dealt with by someone packing. If this becomes the norm then rioters would think twice before attacking folks. Like I stated a few pages back, it’s interesting that the rioters don’t riot in rural areas. There is a reason.

What’s wrong about it? That’s a serious question because I’ve been on the road so I’ve only been keeping up through YouTube.

This is my opinion on what I do know. The kid shouldn’t have been there and he wasn’t old enough to be carrying a gun. But that’s where his guilt stops. Every one of the people in the riot, including those killed, should not have been there either. Forget about age for a moment. He showed up armed with an AR-15 and a medipack with the intent to help possible wounded people and protect businesses. Why is it that some condemn him for having the courage to stand alone vs a mob? Stupid decision alone, I agree. But if we were talking about an entire group of likeminded individuals the overall opinions would change to (right) “BLM finally got what they’ve been asking for”. (Left) “ all those innocent people died for no reason”.

No it's not typical teenager behavior. It's not typical human behavior to run into a burning building after someone you don't know either, but some people do exactly that. Just maybe this kid is more along the line of a first responder mentality than your typical teenager. "Better sense" is the expression of a protective parent and I get that, but maybe Kyle runs toward danger rather than away from it.

So if the parents had no idea their kid decided to go are they still dirt bags? Once my kid took his high school football coaches cart on a joy ride and wrecked it. Am I a dirt bag parent?

He‘s a punk kid that thought he was a badass. But that doesn’t make him a murderer.

Maybe calling them dirtbags was a bit much and this was a one time incident of him making poor decisions.

Great question. I called the FBI and you are on the list of domestic terrorists. Don't shoot (LOL) the messenger.

Remembering back to my time as a kid, the worse kind of trouble is trouble that gets punished by the coach and the parents.
