I don't think the secret service has anything to do with state court judges. FBI might get involved if the threats came from another state.

Maybe it’s just at the Federal level that the secret service handles these things, but I’m pretty sure at some level of judges this is their AO.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the judge and/or the jury succumb to threats from the leftist scum. Many courts (including SCOTUS) and juries (e.g. Chauvin) have caved in the last year.
