Virginia pharmacy incorrectly administered COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11

Sheesh, Loudoun County, VA, is in the news again for something unthinkable.
VDH believes that 112 children aged 5-11 years old were impacted by this situation on Nov. 3-4 at Ted Pharmacy in Aldie, which resulted in these children receiving a lower dose than recommended.
Wait, what? 5-11 year-olds get LOWER doses, not higher! FOX 5 Washington DC news channel needs to develop some critical thinking skills.
Is the vaccine dosage for younger kids different than for teens and adults?
Yes. Children in Pfizer’s 5-to-11-year-old group received two 10-microgram doses. Teens and adults, by comparison, received two 30-microgram doses. Pfizer says its data shows that the smaller dose produces a strong immune response in the 5-to-11-year-old cohort, on par with 16- to 25-year-olds, who received a higher dose.
A smaller dose works just as well in children because their immune systems are more robust than those of adults, Dr. Sude explains.
Am I missing something here?

It doesn't make much sense to me either.
When the story first ran, it sounded like kids got the full adult dose.
It's like everything else these days: nobody knows anything.

I agree, I think that they were overdosed, not underdosed. But the news story screwed it up:
…which resulted in these children receiving a lower dose than recommended.

After wife moved to Memphis, she bartended at the Flying Saucer downtown. Once you drank everything there, you got your own Flying Saucer with your name on it. Her Saucer is still hanging up there.

@theFallGuy which Pixel do you have and do you like it?

Hello from Arlington to all the Memphians.
I got the Pixel 5 about a year ago. Previously I had been all Samsung since the first model. However the price point and amount of storage and features I got made it attractive enough to try.

It took me a bit of getting used to but I can say I am enjoying it a lot and glad I made the switch. I'll most likely stick with Pixel. Camera is good, battery life is excellent. Phone processor is quick and I don't really have any problems.

Oldest is getting a 6. I probably will after he gets it down. I haven't liked any one of the phones I have had since the Droid Ultra.

so one thing that was really different (and this may be because I had an out of date Samsung) but every samsung I've had, had a "return" or back button on the bottom. The pixel has no button's like that. Everything is touch based. At first I wasn't sure I would like it but once I figured out the swipe gestures I like it more.
