The message tweeted by "someone" was indeed disgusting. I have no knowledge of that person, though someone here said that they "know" this person is a SC fan. Fair enough, every fan base has some rotten apples. There were some remarks above saying "maybe Dawn supported that line of thought or at the least would not be upset by the post". That's also low blow material and untrue obviously.

It's not SOMEONE it is a poster who she is in direct contact with. Let's also be clear if Dawn doesn't support it SPEAK UP. PERIOD! So by her not saying anything i can see where someone might be led to believe she agrees. She is very vocal and active on social media.

I have heard some pretty rough things about Dawn but i chose to believe the positive but i'm starting to think other wise. Anyways i hope you continue to respect our board as you have been and don't become one of those disgusting fans that found pleasure in that comment.

I'm done unless someone triggers me again.

I'm not on twitter, so I profess ignorance up front. But when someone claims a person is in direct contact with coach, celebrity etc., does that mean they follow them and reply to the coaches tweets? Lets say a fan follows a coach, and posts a bunch of replies or messages to the coaches tweets. OK, I can see where the coach would read that and need to respond to an obvious problem/weirdo.

But what if a poster, who follows the coach, posts their own tweet? Are you saying there would be a way for the coach to see this? Because, unless I am wrong, the coach would need to follow that person on twitter right? And I am wondering how people would know that. I guess if you could show proof, like the coach responding to that follower previously on the follower's own tweets than yeah. I am positive Staley doesn't support that BS, and I don't believe coaches or celebrities or whomever have access to their follower's tweets unless they themselves follow that person. Does CKH respond to followers on twitter? On their own accounts no less?
If DS read that tweet and did not respond , I'm with you. I don't believe that to be the case obviously.

If you want proof I got it here is a tweet of Dawn replying to the person who mocked Coach Summitt’s disease

look Our Coach Kellie Harper is active on Twitter but she does not interact with fans on there AT ALL she may “like” some post like recently some kids dressed up in Kellies jersey on halloweeen the parents posted about it and Kellie “liked” the picture but that’s it Kellie doesn’t interact with fans and she doesn’t follow them either like Dawn does

Dawn follows them so she sees these tweets but likely turns a blind eye to them and pretends she didn’t see that nasty tweet she sees everything else why doesn’t she see their nasty posts degrading coaches and players their favorite target is UConn and Tennessee. They are bullies and Dawn doesn’t wanna see it

Apparently that’s their “CULTURE” and I hate to use that word because I know how racist people can twist it but these are the words of a South Carolina fan on Twitter. They’re proud “bullies” on Twitter and it’s honestly weird!

Yes what I find weird is them being proud of being know In women basketball as bullies they love it they think it means they are more passionate but it’s okay UConn & Geno will handle them soon and they can cry about Paige Bueckers lighting their ass up…..again😂😂😂

They day we beat them last season they were so shocked it was honestly one of the best days but we met them in tourney and Rennia had a forgettable game little did we know about her stress fracture but they attacked Rennia on Twitter all day probably retribution of her hanging 24 on them in the 2nd half😂😂😂

😂😂😂 and you know what’s crazy, I used to despise and never root for UCONN, but I found myself rooting for them last year against South Carolina!

It’s just such a conundrum because I love some of their players, but both fanbases make it so hard!

I wonder how our fan base acted when we were in our heyday! 😂
No social media which make things 10x worse but I am 100% sure we weren’t like the crazies on Twitter attacking any and everybody pretty sure we HATED Geno and UConn and just won championships and minded our business honestly….move in silence like they say

Both were walk on's. Wesolek was given a scholarship this year. Neither were recruited by Staley.
Well that’s just false. DS recruited both, and visited with both. The walk on status is irrelevant, both are on scholarship btw And both were invited in on official visits like all other recruits. Wesolek was on scholarship from day one.

Ex-NBA player apologizes for Daughter’s brutal basketball sucker punch

Corey Benjamin, who played three seasons with the Chicago Bulls and part of one with the Atlanta Hawks, has apologized after his daughter sucker-punched and concussed an opponent.

Ex-NBAer Corey Benjamin apologizes for daughter's sucker punch
If I was Lauryn Ham's parents, I would be relentless in making sure that Benjamin's daughter has whatever the maximum charge available levied against her. Same with her low-class mom. That girl should also never be permitted to play organized basketball again. Only 14, but this isn't her time swinging punches, and it won't be the last if she's allowed to continue to play.
