This ^. Poor coaching decisions and poor player execution are not mutually exclusive. It started at OM and has continued through the Bama and UK games. They got beat by the running ability of Corral and Young. That's part coach D scheming/calls as well as lack of player execution. UK just did their version of it. Guess what UGA is going to do? What we do not know is if DC Banks did what Heup told him to do (probably). There are other factors we do not know as well.

What we do know. If you have a secondary who plays man and quarters reasonably well, yet, sucks at zone - should you design a game plan to use zone much of the game? That's what they did. Yes, use zone some with blitzes. You have to underneath since you are bringing extra guys. But let's use less of it in base. You can keep one or two S high with man everywhere else and at worst quarters. UGA is going to eat our lunch with their TE's and RB's if we zone too much. Play man or quarters and emphasize tackling well.

Hopefully, Heup and DC Banks have learned some lessons or else the team will be in for a long day. Have success or get beat quickly because you have a quick strike O that can respond - even against UGA with the right play calls. But get off the field quicker with that undermanned D.
Jmo but the whole zone thing vs UK I think was looking at a very turnover prone QB and thinking it'd be a great chance for a multiple INT game. And that nearly did work out...1 pick six and 2 outright DROPPED INTs. That said, it definitely came at a cost.

Been a bit worried about Jaylen, but then heard today that he didn't get to play any football last year cause of COVID. So he's probably just now getting back his conditioning and feeling comfortable with the offense.

Still Evans and Small being healthy would be a huge help Saturday. Hopefully Whitehead and even Pierce are ready to go.

Got snake bit this year in the back field with injuries it seems.

Yeah we haven't had a full healthy backfield all season except for maybe 1-2 games... Evans ankle is hurt every game he tries to come back... We need to win SA and Candy, and don't need Evans or Small to do that, so at least we are good there... Wish we could have Evans full go though for GA... I know we aren't winning, but would like to put up more points than anyone else has this year, which is only 13... crazy, we get two TD's and we've scored more than anyone...

I went down to Tuscaloosa about 15 years ago for a UT game and it isn’t “quite” but I remember it not being as loud as I expected. It may have changed since then but it was an older crowd and a lot of people had headphones on and were almost studying the game, taking it overly serious and was almost as if it were life and death in the balance on every play. It was weird.
That's also based on one game. Bama was being played closely...that's like losing to them. So ofc they were quiet. Clemson is on there too - same for them.

I'm not overly well versed in this but....
Is the head unit the BOSE system and what brand are the speakers?
The Bose head systems have to be matched to 4 ohm speakers I think.
Most non Bose speakers are not 4 ohm so if you try to pair them to a Bose head unit, you could get the result you are seeing.

That's the limit of my speculation.

Has no Bose branding and the speakers were just some generic looking OEM style that likely came with the truck. The new ones are Infinity brand.

It's a math game. Shooting from 25ft without getting the reward of that extra point makes it a bad decision. You know analytics and all, lol. Closeouts because of the quality of 3pt shooters leads to defensive breakdowns that allows more diversity to offense. Making extra passes as defense is forced into rotations.
It's almost absurd how bad jump shots are. I forget the exact numbers, but in the NBA a few years ago the league was shooting better (more points/shot) from 40 feet away (extra long 3s...also less coverage typically) than 7 foot shots.

That will be a good book for my son. I’m proud HH is not embarrassed or ashamed to share his faith with the platform he has. Even if someone doesn’t like Tennessee, I think they would have a hard time not liking HH as a person. He’s easy to pull for, and I’m thankful he’s a Vol. Our season would be totally different without him.

To have a chance on Saturday, we will need an early turnover by our defense. In 1982 when we ended Bama’s winning streak in Knoxville, it all started with a fumble recovery on Bama’s first drive. If we could get an early break and take an early lead, UGA might feel pressure for the first time all year.
