The Atlanta Braves

Sportrac has his market value contract at 4yrs $44Mil. I think he gets way more money than that, also Kimbrel had a 5.04 ERA with the White Sox.
Had some good times with Kimbrel and McCann (and some not so good).

These WR that are thinking of leaving really need to think about it. Look at Alabama and all the WR talent they’ve turned out over the past several years. Most of those guys had to wait their turn for serious PT.

Jon Morosi said Luis Castillo is available. Was fantastic in the second half and has two years remaining. That’d be a great addition for the rotation

I really wish people would stop romanticizing Snit for not using analytics. It's like bragging that your accountant doesn't like calculators.

And he does use analytics. He talked about how he incorporated using them more over the last two years

Exactly. Nobody shifts or pitches into reverse splits as much as the Braves do without using analytics. Snit may be old school, but he’s not sitting there managing off gut feeling like Lou Brown.

Scott, a few posters on VQ and one dude on VN says Vols are talking to Ty Simpson on the hush. Any truth to it?
Yup. Been dialogue but they didnt want it to get out. His dad thinks he is a perfect fit for Heupel’s system (he is) and there is a little concern amongst the staff about the passing ability of the current commit from Indiana. Apparently he plays in an like a glorified wing t or something.

Jay’s had 2 Mvp finalists plus Springer, Bichette, and career year Robbie Ray all just to not make the playoffs lol

Surprising because when they played us (I know it was early in the year) I thought they were a legit WS contender.

Easily could have made the World Series had they gotten in. Gonna sound dumb but I thought they were better than the Yankees for sure
