I'd just use my stand alone but if you want to stay under a hundred dollars get a $50-60 kitchen aide and call it a day.Ha ha. Yep, I use mine all the time, and the hand whisk, but I'm ready for something that will tackle heavier stuff, like making sausage balls.
What kind of stand mixer do you like? I'd love to have a stand mixer. I just don't have the counter space, or a good place to store it away when not using.I'd just use my stand alone but if you want to stay under a hundred dollars get a $50-60 kitchen aide and call it a day.
Julia Child once said about buying a good skillet or kitchen knife...you go out and spend $40 on drinks on a weekend night, don't scoff at spending the same on a piece of kitchen equipment that will make life easier, better and last for years.

That's kind of my ultimate goal, once we get the storage benches built: light-weight hand mixer for quick stuff, and good stand mixer for serious stuff.

stand mixer: I have vowed not to bring anything into the house (or buy anything for the garden) unless I have a place for it already. I've learned that the hard way.I thought it was a tilt an it's not, so it ain't that great of a deal if that makes you feel any better.
What made you decide on the Braun?
I understand about counter space. That's the reason I I need casters on an island.stand mixer: I have vowed not to bring anything into the house (or buy anything for the garden) unless I have a place for it already. I've learned that the hard way.
the Braun: 350 watts, beaters + dough hooks, generally positive reviews (negative reviews on Amazon are always entertaining), Food Network review 6 Best Hand Mixers, Tested by Food Network Kitchen
Like nearly everything else these days, it's a toss-up.![]()
@Behr I had our corporate Excel help look at it. It requires putting DBa code in and saving it as a macro. I tried to get through it and couldn't. I will post later if you feel like trying and on top of that, I don't think it does what you are asking.Yep, I usually keep my gridlines dimmer. You can change those on the sheet unless you have input borders. Then it gets hard to see. I wish they would allow you to "highlight" the cell with a color.
