Wouldn’t have worked. My wife is a “woman hear me roar” type. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t listen to 90% of the things that I say. It’s amazing how well she hears me cussing from outside when I watch UT football but doesn’t respond when I ask her a question when we’re both sitting on the couch.

What have you done? You know @Bassmaster_Vol worshipped Weinke and was hoping he was head coach in waiting. You have doomed us to at least a week of a Bass/Weinke lovefest.

Hot take: JG was our best QB available and stats show that he was….. you cannot play a true freshman without any practice at all….The other two although they had their moments proved to be as bad or worse than JG….. I think that all goes back to our Chris wrinkle who proved he was bad at his job more than once.

Lol. Bahahahaha. Stats back it up. Hahahaha. JG was the king of getting stats but doing absolutely nothing of importance when we needed him. And then racking up yards once we were down twenty. I would rather a QB throw for 250 yards 4 tds and 2ints and be in a game than go 225 yds 2tds and 0ints. And if you go by stats, Bailey was our best QB with a 70% completion rating.

I didn’t include Bailey bc he wasn’t ready with no practice time…. You couldn’t just throw him out there…. Im saying Maurer and Shrout sucked which is an indictment of our staffs recruiting and development…. JG was not a good QB but his back ups were not any better.

bama played uninspired football against the kiffin team. Not like he rallied our team to play above their talent level. Knowingly puts an injured kicker (with an injury to his kicking leg no less) out there for a potential game winning kick. Doesn’t scream competent coach to me. Thanks for reminding us…

Not worried. We pitched some guys who we rarely ever pitch after Fried. Snit was resting the pitchers to close it out in atlanta once Fried didn’t pitch well.

They probably did that bc of the bullpen game the day before but that is a risky proposition if Scherzer and Beuhler are able to give their best effort. By the way….. I hate bullpen games and new age baseball.

Don’t treat Bama differently than you would any other team…. You want to change the culture in that locker room then you can’t act scared of an opponent…. We are going in there to win.

Not cursed - there is no such thing. The lesson from the Lord is to not worship Vol football. Worship Him and enjoy Vol football. Vol football will be better when the leadership of the program and UT become more competent at what they do.

Early nugs: Crawford is starting at tackle…. Dayne has been benched…. My person doesn’t know if that’s a good thing bc he thinks Crawford will struggle…. Tiyon has gotten a lot of reps this week but still considered day to day…. Should know more after walk through.

Give one of those other guys a half dozen games in a row to start and finish with the scheme tailored to him and not JG. Then they would get a better picture of what they can do. They never did that. If the first one fails, do the same thing with the next guy in the room. Nearly all of CFB laughed at us for playing #2 and the opponent coaches would talk him up as the greatest to make sure we trotted him out there since he gave them the best chance to win.

I would have switched right after the Kentucky game and not looked back…. I can understand the hesitation with as erratic as the other two were in practice…. I’m just glad they are gone and we have a good QB evaluator and coach.

AP been hinting at the Crawford stuff. I think you have to make the move even if Crawford struggles you need to see what he gives you being more athletic than Dayne vs the Bama folk. Davis play really hurt several drives.

Agreed. But Ian Anderson is a stud and if he is on, y’all won’t hit much either. I bet we like our chances to get a few more hits at home in a rowdy crowd than you all. Plus we rested our main bullpen to go for this next game.
