Except he does suck man. He is, at his very best, a league average reliever with a penchant of getting SHELLED when it matters most. There’s zero argument otherwise.
I would think they would try to get something out of Smyly today as well.Bowman suggested in his article today Minter will get the start and they’re gonna try and get 2 from him. Said that they might try and 4 from Minter and Ynoa and from there see what they can do. I’d stay away from Chavez and Jackson today.
Chavez (1)-Ynoa/Smyly (4-5)-Martin (1)-Minter-(1-2) as a general outline for me. Adjust as score dictates.
He’s right handed and won’t **** his pantsMy one concern is Chavez going top of the order. Ynoa has definitely struggled but we know he can be good. That is why I’d start him and play it by ear. Maybe he pulls a Bryse Wilson and gives 5-6 of two run ball. Honestly I’m playing for game 5 if we get down early. Not going to use Minter/Matzek/Jackson unless our bats battle back and focus on Game 5.
