Luke isn’t Mariano Rivera, but this whole “Luke Jackson sucks” or “he doesn’t have the balls” or whatever is ridiculous. He gave a bloop single down the line, a tailor made DP play ball that unfortunately with the shift we were playing went through and then Belli hit a HR a foot above the K zone. **** sometimes just happens.

Except he does suck man. He is, at his very best, a league average reliever with a penchant of getting SHELLED when it matters most. There’s zero argument otherwise.

For me to say literally the entire season that we cannot have Luke Jackson pitch the 8th inning in the postseason and then he gives up a 4 spot in the biggest 8th inning of the year, I am certainly not going to be deterred by an elementary heat map.
