Then feel free to put your vol swag on Ebay and show yourself out. That officiating crew needed to shaken up a bit and a little fear instilled in them. If that’s too much for your gentle heart then kindly piss off. Sometimes being an ******* is worth it and last night was one of those times.

The receiver was short of the first down marker. There is no question about it.
Now if the 'fans' wanted to show their displeasure they picked the wrong time to do it. The appropriate time, if there is an appropriate time was the strip of the QB and reversal.
The "fans" throwing crap all over the field were mad at that point because they realized the game was most likely lost. Those fans acted in a childlike manner, something Kiffy would have done.

It was ugly and only gave Kiffin good press and the Tennessee program bad press.

The officiating crew wasn’t “shaken up” they simply walked out of range and quietly laughed at all the morons throwing things. The only damage inflicted was to our team who still had a shot and to our school’s reputation.

He got the first down. Just barely but it should have kept the chains moving.

Like I said before, if that was another player in a Bama or Georgia uniform, referees wouldn’t have hesitated to call that a first down.

Sankey is the reason why the rest of the SEC is screwed.

Were the fans also displeased with our cheerleaders and band?

Ha, his entire upper body is past the 40. The official who made the spot was 20 yards away.

The replays they were showing on the big screen made it look like he got the first down

He may of been a half yard short. The spot wasn't right to begin with.. Doesn't matter, he was short of the line to gain..
Warren's sternum was at the line to gain when his knee touched. With all this technology at games, we were not afforded the correct camera angle to see the ball. Your statement is only speculation.

He was a little short of the line. If the ball was in the opposite hand then no. Yeah they probably give Bama or UGA that first down..We're not the privileged class right now and may never get to that spot.

And that is why people are pissed. At least me, it was close enough for some teams, but not us.

That isn’t competent officiating, and it isn’t the fair play and sportsmanship the fanbase is getting lambasted for not having last night.

I really hate this conference.

Moving to the ACC doesn’t sound like a bad idea after all.

Does Bama or UGA or AU get that spot, or do you believe they get it on review?

The review would have overruled any first down ruling. There’s a reason why the review booths have 3-4 screens in each stadium. When you time the wide angle replay with the endzone angle replay, you can tell where the ball is (tucked at the waist) and where his knee goes down. When both timed, it’s clear as day he was short. It’s amazing how many people don’t understand how reviews work in the booth…… literally every review uses and syncs multiple angles unless there is one definitive one that shows proof to confirm or overrule a call on the field.
