As of now, they are still saying morning rain but clearing by afternoon.....7;30 kickoff should be great fall football wx in the Smokies !

Rain showers early with some sunshine later in the day. High around 65F Low 43F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

Catchers are often chosen for their defensive skill rather than batting and plenty hit in the 7 or 8 spot. Same with other specific players here and there. Even Bellinger couldn’t find a hit anywhere this season but was hard to pull out of the lineup because of his elite defense.

If people put such a premium on making sure only good batters hit, the logical extension is to have separate offensive and defensive lineups. That would be awful of course. But we’re already one ninth of the way there with the DH.

Jason Heyward has really struggled at the plate since he came to the Cubs. He is still one of the best OF in the game and they don't win it all in 2016 without him, IMO.

There is no if-- every time it will be 5 downs. If he did it with Bama, he will definitely do it with us.
