There’s more than one @Catbone?!?Embarrassed to say........but my dad left before the Larry Mize chip-in at Augusta in 1987, the 6 OT game vs Arkansas, and the "Music City Miracle"
We will drum them again next year for what will be like the 4th year in a row. Then they’ll still be acting like they’re relevant. So USCe fans were upset with the loss until Beamer’s post game comments. Now, at least on Reddit, they believe they won the 2nd half and would have won the game if it weren’t for the endzone interception. They are downvoting anyone who disagrees.
We would do the same thing. You don’t want to believe your new coach is bad and have hope for the future. I don’t see the chickens being a game for us for a while now.
I agree and understand their point of view but I stopped Orange tinting everything during the Dooley years. See something say something. We’ve seen enough football to know when it’s good or bad. I know we’re beating up bad teams right now but we’re also not a great team as far as talent and depth are concerned. We’re depleted but playing inspired, well prepared football. It’s been so so long since we’ve seen that.
Good post. I needed the reminder.BVS posters - just enjoy the sunshine a bit more. It’s OK to have hope again. Heup has given you enough for you to find your way out of the gloom.
Be a realist and look at the stats and match ups. Our D has shown the ability to make the opponents one dimensional and we have some good players back from injuries. They go against an uptempo O scheme as good or better than OM’s in practice. OM has showed everything they have in the last two games, which zapped their stamina. Think Mizzou when it comes to their D. Heup will take what they give in the pass and run games and we have really good playmakers. Playing at home with a capacity crowd that will impact their snap and line calls.
It’s time to win and tell the CFB world to quit discounting our guys.
