Had no idea that Williams kid was a top 10 composite recruit...geesh. And Rattler was top 5 iirc. It's amazing the continuous QB talent you can get once you've proven your system. Similar to how the Clemson pipeline has been.

Hopefully we'll get such raw talent incoming soon. I'm not sure we've even had 2 top 10 QBs all time. There's Peyton and...Casey may have been a 5 star iirc but not top 10 or even 20. Nobody else is really that close, most of the modern guys have been sub-top 60 and closer to 100. (Just looked and Crompton was the highest post-Clausen at #51 composite).

They upgraded after Vandagriff flipped. Caleb was the top rated dual threat QB and a 5 star.

I've told my wife I have always wanted to do a podcast that tell the stories of my family members. The guy I picked up used to remodel strip clubs as a profession back in the day as well.

I will tell one more and end it. My mom is the 3rd youngest of 13 kids. When my oldest aunt died, my uncle, who was one year 1 year younger, told me that when she was 13, 4 of the older kids went to pick strawberries on the back of a canvas style box truck. There was a man that tried to sexually assault one of the younger boys, who confirmed the story. The truck was doing 40 or so down a gravel road, she hit him with a tobacco stick and when he stood up she jumped up and kicked the guy off of the truck. He landed on his head on the edge of the road and rolled off the road and into the woods and they are 90% sure he died that day. He was from their neighborhood and they never saw him again and people thought he just left. They told the driver he jumped off the truck when it slowed down further back. It was never mentioned by anyone in the family again until the day of her funeral. She died at the age of 65.

Okay, you've got me beat. I had my doubts.

Our SC radio friend looked at FPI and saw were favorites against OM and UK.

“I don’t buy that for a second,” he says. Says we’re 4th in the East at best, and no better. Says USC and UT are almost identical in talent and there’s no reason USC should have gotten embarrassed like that and that it says more about Beamer than it does about Heupel.

Even the UFC who still sells PPV like it's 1999 is easier to watch than MLB and NBA games.

Doubt it matters because of the portal. Would have to compare players on teams now.

Are these rankings of classes on signing days? Or are they updated to factor in all of the players that signed but are no longer on the team?

Heupel didn’t recruit anyone on the team out of high school, is using a QB that Pruitt brought in, and still beat Beamer by 25.

Got no problem with people misspelling his name but I think we should standardize it so it's clear that it's a gesture of disrespect.

That's really interesting. On paper, the only thing Ole Miss is better than us at is preseason expectations. I'm feeling some optimism building for Saturday.
