We’re basically the same on offense. They average 46 and we average 43. The difference is we play pretty good defense and they don’t. I’m thinking something like 55-40 final score.

Why does everyone say--"I hope we can keep these coaches" after we have some success? The culture is worse with out fan base than it ever was with the players. Just enjoy the damn wins.

I'm of the opinion that our fans are the most fickle in sports. I'm sorry, but I've been a fan since the early 60"s and I've seen the best and worst---just enjoy the ride.

Was at the game and Evans was doing backflips with the cheerleaders post game. I think he is fine.

Yup. I actually love this approach of what Heupel is trying to do in that situation. The only issue is in the crunch time like that it takes great execution, and so far in that situation the offense hasn’t been able to do it yet. When that clicks though and the offense is moving quickly and efficiently then I can see the offense being deadly in those situations.

People been sayin' that almost every week. This Kentucky team is senior laden and they're playing well. I have a sneaky suspicion that they're not overlooking anyone and they believe they can beat anyone on their schedule. I believe our game with them is gonna be a win in our favor but we better not go into that game with a bunch of guys still hurt and not 100%.

1) It’s Kentucky

2) They are having a historic season

Working from that set of facts I conclude they will find a way to blow that game against Tennessee regardless of who we have available to play

The team showed us who they are yesterday. They are a team that has the potential to win every game that we play in given a few breaks. They have bought into what this staff has been coaching and they are so new to playing well that they did just what was expected by most when they eased up and lost their edge in the second half. That second half let down may be the best thing they could have happened to this team. They hopefully learned that the big boys don't quit and they had better not if they want to win the big games in their future. They are fun to watch for sure and the past two weeks is what I think is a preview of what we can look forward to in the future.
