I’m pretty much a boomer, and I’ve never understood the jersey traditionalism. As long as we’re not going full Oregon, I’m cool with it.

Part of me wonders if we had some kind of contractual obligation to do it before a certain date, and this game made more sense than Pitt (which was also a noon game).

These are better than I expected. Wasn’t sure how the helmet would look with black accent but it actually looks good and not gimmicky. Nothing compares to that beautiful helmet we’ve worn for years though!

I mean it's UT, at this point after Kiffin, Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt there's just 2 things that we need to do for recruiting to heat up.

1. Win & do so in style
2. Have Neyland packed/rocking again (this will happen if #1 is happening)

I really...REALLY...Hope that we're the new SEC "Fun & Gun" era but time will tell. I think UCF dropped the ball in letting White & Heupel go and based on who they hired to replace each it seems like maybe there was something behind the scenes that lead to that sort of turnover all at once.

I shared a pic of a player wearing the black uniform at practice and took it back down bc I didn’t know if I should have it out there.

Meh, it’s marginal. They deserve a golf clap for the effort but still comes up plenty short.

Granted these are just someone’s mock-ups but I would have gone with something like this over that god awful white helmet and black uni…

We've had these Uni's since last year, probably didn't have the helmet figured out at the point, and it's tough to wear alts for the "Johnny Majors Classic" lol
