Good restaurant suggestions in Baton Rouge….

And I said “good,” not Applebee’s.

For lunch - Zeeland Street. I recommend the pot roast, green beans and sweet potatoes - but everything is good.

For dinner - I don’t really know what’s around there these days. Superior Grill was a staple when I lived there. Blue Corn Stack Enchiladas (if I am recalling correctly) are very good. I assume it’s still around - on Government. A lot of good Lebanese/Greek places too.

Yo! Whatcha in the mood for?

If you want some Cajun / creole seafood, check out Parrain’s. Check out The Chimes for killer burgers / alligator, fish and 300+ beers on tap. Mike Andersons for more upscale Louisiana cooking. Red Zeppelin for pizza. Thai Kitchen for Thai. Torchys Tacos is right there by the stadium.

We got waffle houses too.

Forgot all about Parrain’s. It is good. And there used to be a hole in the wall Italian place across the street from it in that strip mall by the used book store. That place was so good.

Edit: Looked it up. Pinetta’s. So good.

Walking around the Huge Disney Store in Orlando. Is it wrong to report my credit card stolen so my daughter cant buy $500 worth of stuff

It's rare a dad can say no to a daughter when it is Disney and not a guy. So you are going to have to let her have the stuff or lie.

I stumbled across a really interesting website today. I am not exactly sure what every column means, but here is the gist. This website shows data of expected points added for every FBS football team. Tennessee currently ranks 16th out of 130 teams. Here are some of our numbers...

On Offense:
0.142 EPA per play (So we are scoring 0.142 points per play)
0.233 EPA per rush play
0.031 EPA per pass play
(Rush offense is a strength, no surprise there)

On Defense:
0.077 EPA per play
-0.082 EPA per rush play
0.216 EPA per pass play
(Rush defense is a strength which is also no surprise)

South Carolina (103/130 teams):

On Offense:
-0.206 EPA per play
-0.257 EPA per rush play
-0.142 EPA per pass play
(Pass offense is best but still negative points added per pass play)

On Defense:
-0.109 EPA per play
-0.049 EPA per rush play
-0.176 EPA per pass play
(Defense is actually pretty good)

One crazy stat to note is that Georgia has a -0.508 EPA per pass play on defense. In other words, you are losing half a point if you throw on Georgia currently.

All data came from here: : College Football Advanced Stats 2021
