All things we heard from fans about Theo before this season.

Tank is in year #3 and his first with really good coaching (imo). He will be back next season and could even come back for a 5th year if he wanted to with the covid year not counting. Theo is in his 5th year, so it's not crazy to think given the same amount of time Tank could be as productive as Theo has been.

Theo's also already surpassed his numbers from last year in half as many games. Not taking anything away from Theo, but it took time for him to get to where he is, maybe the same will be true for Tank.

He will play it different than Theo then. Because Theo has always been quicker and has much better lateral coverage skills. Tank tackles harder. Hope he can and maybe they can coach him up to get there.

And I have zero problems believing it takes guys 2-3 years for it all to click. But after that, what you see is usually what you get. The improvement becomes marginal.

I agree - the lack of coaching changes that general observation.

New nug: I usually wait till I have all the info I can get but this one made me laugh so I wanted to go ahead and share…. No…. This is not any excuse for Joe bc he has played horribly…. Just sharing what I was told….. Apparently Joe is really bad nearsighted…..His contacts had been bothering him so he hadn’t been wearing them…. He is being sent to an eye doctor this week to get his vision fixed

Here's what I think...Tank is starting for a reason, and the guys who made that call obviously believe he is good enough to do it. Now does that mean he's the most talented Safety on the team? No. But something the younger guys aren't doing he does and helps the defense.

I like what I see from Charles, Rucker, Slaughter, & McDonald all underclassmen too. I'm also curious if Turnage & Fields eventually earn bigger roles as well (both RS-So right now)

A handful of key plays may make the difference in a game. We obviously have a different opinion, but I see no need to give any clarity to the opponent during game week.

New nugs: Cooper was a full participant at practice today…. That’s huge….. he feels everyone should be good to go this weekend bc he didn’t see anyone limited or notice anyone…. Will know more at walkthrough on Friday…. Hooker practiced…. Looked good and seems like he is getting a better grasp on the offense.
