I find it funny that there are people complaining about the ticket situation and even threatening to “sue” and whatnot. LOL. You still get the option to have seats just either actually have to pay more, less or pick a different section up top. It isn’t that difficult. This will enable more season ticket sales while making the process fair for everyone. No more free skating no donation just because uncle Tommy bought season tickets 50 years ago. This is a welcome change and will boost season ticket sales while adding boat load of more revenue that was stupidly lost due to the old policy

I agree. In general, people hate change unless they get the immediate benefit. Many think self first, overall good second. What DW is doing is for the overall good of the program and fan base in general. I understand the loyalty of a lot of fans buying tickets for a lot of years no matter what. But they did not buy a specific seat license, this isn't the NFL. They can still buy tickets and can even sit where they have been - it may just be at a higher cost. Which is how it works in a capitalistic society. The best seating costs more. Always has and probably always will.

Hope everyone has had a good week! I’ve had a blast… Went to Disney to only find out the day we arrived that my wife has Covid. The g-parents took our oldest so we let her stay with them at the resort and we got a hotel off property. Decided to stay to see if symptoms went away and we didn’t catch it. Tested my littlest one and myself after losing my smell and came back positive. So we headed home. So Covid ruined my second child’s birth with a false positive and kept us on quarantine and now ruined a Disney trip we planned for a year. I am perfectly fine with a little fatigue and congestion and my one year old had a fever and has been perfect since. To say I am over Covid would be an understatement. And yes we are all vaccinated and we only eat outside at restaurants and wear masks everywhere. So I’m jumping on the wagon that everyone is going to eventually get this thing and live your damn life.

I don’t watch games with anyone unless they’re a UT fan or a legit CFB fan of a non rival. No one else allowed to watch UT games at my house.

I'll go you one further. Never watch a game at a bar with any sports fan. It can get pretty ugly with copious amounts of alcohol flowing

my wife is from Pittsburgh, and i've been up there a million times over the years. all bridges and tunnels, and if you make the wrong turn....well, you may be able to see where you need to go...but you got no shot at getting there....a lot of my friends found that out the hard way when they came up for our wedding lol.

and i've been across that bridge a thousand times....it's not wrong. lol. but it's a great entrance to a city...you come out of that tunnel to that bridge and BOOM....city!

It is a cool place. We take the boys to occasional steeler games and pirates. Wife and I have never been alone, but my friends go there for the weekend often and say it’s a lot of fun.
We live about 2 1/2 hours SW of there.

It is a cool place. We take the boys to occasional steeler games and pirates. Wife and I have never been alone, but my friends go there for the weekend often and say it’s a lot of fun.
We live about 2 1/2 hours SW of there.

yeah, pittsburgh is sneaky nice....great bar/restaurant scene, plenty to do downtown, southside etc....and i've been to more than my fair share of steeler, pirate and penguin games....they're all fun. i wouldn't move there...winter sucks and not near enough clear, blue sky days for my liking. but visiting isn't terrible.
