I don't know why we can't get a PC port of that. PC gamers have shown time and time again that when it comes to really good games, we don't care how old they are. If I could get a copy and an emu without Spectrum sending me to Gitmo I'd have found a way by now but Spectrun is evil when it comes to downloading.

No. Its a cowboy western video game set in the late 1800's in the western and southern frontiers. There is camping, but its a survivalist action game full of beautiful environments. Its immersive enough that playing the game for a couple hours can feel like you've been there, same with any other media. But the goal is not camping.

I used to camp all the time with my dad. But we live in Louisiana, and camping is less than ideal here most times of the year, and driving the 3 to 6 hours to decent spots isn't really practical most weekends, especially while my wife was pregnant. So a couple hours on a video game in my living room had to suffice. Hope this clears that up.

RDR is a bad ASS game!! My son has it and I’ve played it a few times. So cool.

I just can't get past the Anime style in that game. I grew up on Nintendo and I love things like Zelda but I'm 100 percent burnt out on the kind of anime style aesthetic that games like FFIX use. I'm also over the giant oversized weapons and armor a lot of games use. That said, FFIX is a worthy game per reviewers.

I agree, I tried FFXIV , but just not my style. WoW is much better. Also I do have Red Dead 2, i enjoy it very much, still not as much as Witcher 3 though.

If you don’t mind antiquated graphics and a grind, I recommend runescape.. we could even start a group iron man (no trading except with each other, self reliant). I’ll start playing again if I can get a group to start with me. That early game grind is brutal unless you have friends.

Who here has Ps5? That’s my primary platform. I have steam and Xbox on PC but don’t touch it much. Would love to get back into RuneScape with someone here too
