It is absolutely insane what is happening in Australia. People say "this will never happen in America because we still have our guns". While I tend to agree that we are a ways from this actually happening here, it is concerning to see how many sheep we have here in America who are willing to do whatever the government says to do all in the name of "staying safe". If given the opportunity politicians will find a way to convince a majority of Americans that we need to turn in our guns.
That's an interesting question. I'm sure Ras thinks 100% of cops would do as they're told. I'm sure some would but all of the cops I know have told me that they wouldn't ever do it. They said they would quit first. When it comes to feeding your family, losing a pension etc. it would change some people's perspective. The police will be called in to collect them and will gladly go along. If you expect to fight back they'll bring in the Ng. When we get to that point guess my family will either give in or head to the hills.
You are forcing me to highlight how stupid this is.Do you realize how stupid this post was?
"We realize that criminals will still possess guns but it's only reasonable to take them away from non-criminals that don't abuse them."
I still have a little more faith in the military (enlisted) than I do law enforcement.
More stupid ass blathering from you. It would be idiotic to limit the effectiveness on pain meds and thus limiting a Dr’s capability to control a patients pain, a patient abiding by the Dr’s prescription, due to other individuals unlawfully abusing prescription pain meds.I'm not blind to the fact that pain meds could potentially be improved. I guess you are.
The Texas border situation is setting up for this. The Texas legislature is solidly behind Abbott. Abbott put a “put up or shut up” demand on the clown in chiefs desk with the request for an emergency declaration. The clown will not agree to that. And I’m guessing Abbott expects that. It's going to take a governor with strong legislative backing to stand up to the fed .gov. I just don't know if there is one out there.
