Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

Just curious. According to some on here if you don’t do that, it’s because you’re a white supremacist who just wants to kill
No. Traveling to a riot with an AR15 is one extreme and the opposite would be sitting in your house while everything burns around you

I have a hard time calling defending property rights extreme. To me it’s extreme to pretend that we should allow communities to burn

I’m still waiting. If he was lusting to kill someone as you believe, why did he run from every single person who attacked him?

My bad. Yourepeatedly commented on the lengths that I went to to inform you about why I’m not interested in having a discussion with you and what could be done to resolve it, so I believed you understood it.

Do you need me to explain it again, or are you good with lame accusations of trolling, strawmen, goalpost moving, and other attention-seeking behaviors? These things do not pique my interest in your opinion, I assumed they were catharsis for you not getting what you want.

I don't believe you're getting the context

Sure. You’re saying he should have stayed on his own property until the protestors come for that too.

My point is simple. Not only are you allowed to defend your own property, you’re allowed to assist others in defending theirs. But even given all that, that’s the issue here.

The issue is does your opinion of why KR is as there to begin with negate his right to self defense. The obvious answer is no. People on both sides travel vast distances for these events. People on both sides show up armed.

Yet, people on both sides still maintain their right to self defense

Just to clarify: you are engaging with me again, to further clarify your position that you refuse to engage with me?

Troll strong, bro.

How close is his neighborhood to the riot?

Just to clarify: you believe the problem with politics today is a lack of willingness to engage in a genuine exchange of ideas and opinions, but you are unwilling to accept that I refuse to engage with you unless there is a genuine exchange of ideas and opinions?

Does this make you “of the left?”

Are you saying this young man is guilty of murder?

Seems odd for our resident libertarian to judge a young man showing up with a gun and then pretend he had the intent of shooting people.

Dude, what? Never has so much been extracted from so little. The last time we engaged you tried this same jump to conclusion BS.

Also, being libertarian has nothing to do with what opinion I should have about his intent. Libertarianism doesn't offer direction about judgment of intent.

Right after he walked down the middle of the street towards it. How close was this riot to the neighborhood where he lived?
So it is only cool for someone whose house/business to get involved? None of that changes the fact that some ******* tried to take his head off with a skateboard and got what he deserved.

The counter example you gave involved someone from the left showing up with the intent to kill. Are you proclaiming he did the same?

I would happily engage in a genuine exchange of ideas and opinions. I just did so with Septic

All I know is if KR were a lefty showing up to shoot violent proud boys in Charlottesville or the mob on 1/6, then a lot of people here would be flip-flopping.

I’ll quote this again so there’s no confusion.

Here you’re clearly providing a counter of someone showing up with the intent to kill.

Are you proclaiming this young man did the same? If so, other than bringing a gun, wth are you basing that on?

If you don’t believe he did, then you’re just providing absurd and meaningless hypotheticals for no apparent reason

Have you voiced support for the policeman who shot Ashli Babbitt? He was defending US property which was actually his job? Not to mention he was defending people.
